Huanhuaxi

Huanhuaxi is famous for the poet Du Fu. In Du Fu's poems, Huanhuaxi has become an eternal swan song, with two orioles singing green willows and a line of egrets flying into the sky. Outside the window is the autumn snow in Xiling, and the Wu Dong Wan Li boat is moored at the door.

The song of autumn wind breaking the thatched cottage is written here. In addition to the subtle and graceful scenery, the background of Huanhuaxi is a distant culture, which is interpreted with beautiful poems. Caotang, streams, bamboo forests, pavilions, small bridges and pebbles were the portrayal of Huanhuaxi at that time. Du Fu's thatched cottage is often covered with San Mao, and rainy nights are hard. Joule can't sleep well for this reason, so he has to rush about in the work of repairing the thatched cottage. Therefore, "There are thousands of spacious buildings in Qian Qian, and all the poor people in the world are laughing" must be Du Fu's voice.

There is also a story about Mrs. Huan Hua. Legend has it that Mrs. Huanhua was the daughter of a farmer near Huanhua River in Tang Dynasty. When she was young, one day she was washing clothes by the stream, and she met a passing monk with sores all over her body and fell into a ditch. Monkey took off his cassock and asked him to wash it. The girl readily agreed. When she was washing her robe in the stream, there were lotus flowers floating on her body. In an instant, the lotus flooded the water. Huanhuaxi is famous for this.

What is Huanhuaxi like today?

There are famous gardens in Chengdu on both sides of the tree-lined boulevard shaded by phoenix trees. On the left is Du Fu Caotang in memory of Du Fu. The red flower wall winds along, and the green bamboo in the garden is unwilling to be lonely. It sticks out from the gap in the flower wall and comes out from the wall. The cool breeze in Xu Lai makes the branches and leaves rustle, which highlights the quietness of the road. On the right is the "Caotang Spring" villa area, which was completed last year. It is built by mountains and waters. The iron flower low wall is wrapped with honeysuckle vines, and the bamboo forest inside the wall is sparse. The low-key and quaint gray buildings are outlined by ebony eaves, columns and windowsills, and the floor-to-ceiling glass is embedded in the carved windowsill, which is more clear. Looking up, you can see the ginkgo forest and camphor tree forest in the park, but there are no large lawns in the park, only winding stone paths and flowers and leaves scattered along the road. The evergreen yellow seedlings are trimmed into various shapes, and the cuckoo planted in an arc is shy and charming. The white pebble-paved stream bank and the green stream set each other off, lining the exquisite gardening sketches on the bank and flowing quietly under the shade of the phoenix tree.

The stream flows under a covered bridge, and the river suddenly widens. The stream from the south also gathers here, forming a small lake. The sloping river bank is covered with white pebbles, and three or two urchins play on it, while the white swan still swims on the blue waves with its head held high. The water flowing eastward suddenly fell from a big stone and turned into a small waterfall, adding liveliness and interest to the green eyes. In fact, unconsciously, I have entered another big garden-Huanhuaxi Park. Covers an area of 200 mu, mostly sloping land. Using the situation of the slope itself, trees, lawns and flowers are arranged, and pavilions are scattered. The cobblestone road, the steps combined with wood and stone, and the flowers flowing down the hillside are brilliant and casual without artificial carving and deliberate arrangement. Large tracts of Cinnamomum camphora, Ginkgo biloba, Phoebe bournei and Sophora japonica occupy their respective territories. No matter on the hillside, on the roadside or in the Woods, there are wooden benches for tourists to rest. The amiable old people get together in groups of three or five, set up a dragon gate array, listen to birds, tease parrots, drink tea and read newspapers, which is quiet and serene.

Baihuatan Park is surrounded by Huanhuaxi Park, and there are small gardens in the big garden. Although there are low walls and doors, this is not an obstacle to trees at all. Their crowns are connected, and they can touch each other as long as there is a little wind. Their roots are linked together, absorbing nutrients together and silently passing on affection.

Huanhua stationery

Xue Tao (about 759-834) was a famous poetess in the Tang Dynasty.

She used to live in Huanhuaxi, Chengdu. This girl's school book likes to make paper in Huanhuaxi, Chengdu. She used hibiscus skin as raw material and added hibiscus flower juice to make crimson exquisite small color stationery, which is often used to write small poems and is called "Xuetao stationery" or "Huanhua stationery". Because the water in Huanhuaxi is clear and smooth, and the paper stationery is bright and lovely. There are many poems about Huan Hua Jian, and Wei Zhuang wrote one: "Huanhua River is like a flower visitor, but I don't know if it is green, black and red. Leaving the head of the stream rustling and splashing the orangutan color on the paper. Split the colorful clouds with a golden knife, and sometimes cut out the autumn blue. Don't let Xia Hong Duan fly, and drive to Danxia Wall for a while. " Li Shangyin also praised the poem: "Huanhuaxi paper is peach-colored, and poetry hangs jade hooks". After Xue Tao's death, few people can use streams as stationery.

Huanhua Day

1. Also called Huanhuatian.

2. There is an ancient custom in Chengdu. Every April 19, a banquet is held by the Huanhua River, which is called Huanhua Festival.

Song Luyou's Notes on the Old Learning Temple Volume 8: "On April 19th, Chengdu was called Huanhua, and held its first banquet at Canglang Pavilion in Du Zimei Caotang. The whole city is out, and the resplendent streets are lined up. Since the opening of the New Year's Eve tour, it has stopped, so it was the most prosperous in his era. I have been in Sichuan for several years, and I have been to this episode many times. Shu people said,' Although they always wear white clothes, it never rains every day.' "

Song Luyou's poem "Early Summer" said: "The flower day has passed, and the dumpling feast will be opened." The province is also called "Huanhua".

Song Sushi's "The Second Rhyme of a Cold Food Tour to the West Lake in Liu Jingwen Zhoudi Garden": "After the green tail suddenly surprises the new fire, it must rush to the front of the flower." Note: "Chengdu magistrate, travel from the tenth day of the first month to April 19th."

Song Luyou's poem "Xuzhou" said: "Chu Yong and Wu Miao traveled far away, enjoying flowers and dreaming of Xizhou."

It should all have evolved from the story of Mrs. Huan Hua.
