Translation of encouraging learning

Encourage people to keep learning. Only in this way can they increase their knowledge, develop their talents and cultivate noble moral character.

The translation is that only by hitting a stone will there be a spark. If you don't hit it, not even a little smoke will come out. The same is true for people. Only through learning can we master knowledge. If you don't learn, knowledge will not fall from the sky. Everything must be practiced by yourself. The knowledge obtained by others cannot replace your own talents. You should work hard as early as possible during your youth. Can a person remain a "youngster" forever?

"Encouraging Learning" is a five-character poem written by Meng Jiao, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. The poem consists of four sentences and forty words, mainly expressing the importance of learning to read, saying that knowledge will not fall from the sky if you do not learn it.
