Yu Guangzhong
Yu Guangzhong (1928-), male, is a famous contemporary poet and critic.
Born in Shangyang Village, taocheng town, Yongchun County, Fujian Province, 1928 was born in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, and 1946 was admitted to the Foreign Languages Department of Xiamen University. 1947 joined the Foreign Languages Department of Jinling University (later transferred to Xiamen University), 1948 published his first poem, 1949 moved to Hong Kong with his parents, and went to Taiwan to study in the Foreign Languages Department of Taiwan Province Provincial University the following year. 1952 graduated from the Foreign Languages Department of Taiwan Province Provincial University. 1959 Master of Arts, University of Iowa (LOWA). He has taught at Soochow University, Normal University, Taiwan Province Provincial University and Taiwan Province Political University. During this period, he was invited by the State Council twice and served as a visiting professor in several American universities. 1953 10, together with Qin zihao and Zhong Dingwen, founded the "blue star" poetry club and Genesis poetry magazine, devoted to the creation of modernist poetry.
