Another element of Chinese tea art is to pay attention to the water suitable for drinking tea. As for the water used for making tea, Lu Yu has already discussed it in the Book of Tea: "Above the mountains and rivers, in the river and underground." He believes that the water for drinking tea should first stay away from the market to reduce pollution, and live water should be used instead of stagnant water. Therefore, the milk spring in the mountains and the Qingxi in the river have become the first choice. In ancient times, the criteria for choosing to cook tea were: water with clear water source, sweet taste, lively taste and light weight was most suitable for cooking tea.
Lu Yu, the author of The Book of Tea, was honored as Cha Sheng by later generations. The word "sage" is the highest praise for the ancient literati class. For example, calligrapher Wang Xizhi, painter Wu Daozi and poet Du Fu. Interestingly, there is also a poet in the poem who sounds half a lattice higher than the "saint". But people are still willing to get close to poets.
Also writing about war, Lao Du wrote, "Although the country is divided, the mountains and rivers will last forever, and everything is spring", but what about Li Taibai? Li Taibai wrote, "Overlooking Luoyang and Sichuan, walking in Hu Bing". Li Taibai viewed the war from the perspective of a war correspondent, while Lao Du was the spokesman for the victims of the war. However, according to the biography of gifted scholars in Tang Dynasty, Lu Yu was called "tea fairy", and it was said that people engaged in tea business at that time used ceramics to shape the image of Lu Yu and regarded him as a tea god.
