1, I became attached to your novel when I was a sophomore in the last century. It was an autumn afternoon, and I saw your book How Butterflies Become Specimens in the library reading room. I was immersed in that beautiful story that afternoon, and the shock that the novel brought to my heart is still indelible. More than ten years have passed. Rereading this novel, you can still touch the scene that afternoon. A typical China woman wearing a cheongsam keeps running away with a box from time to time, and butterflies are flying all over the sky in her mind. It was then that I began to like your work. You are a prolific writer and a very diligent writer. Since you entered the literary world in the 1980 s, you have maintained a lasting creative vitality and new works have emerged one after another. So far, you have published more than 60 poems, novels and essays. And some writers who debuted with you in the same period may fall into silence after a short creative peak. What power has been supporting you and providing you with endless nourishment for your writing? Which novel are you most satisfied with?
