The 2023 Yulin Marathon will start on September, 2023 10 in Century Square, Yulin City. In 2023, Yulin Marathon was guided by Shaanxi Provincial Sports Bureau, hosted by Yulin Municipal People's Government, technically certified by Shaanxi Athletics Association, undertaken by Yulin Sports Bureau, Yuyang District People's Government and Yulin High-tech Zone Management Committee, and implemented by Yulin Sports Center. Yulin Marathon basically ended on September 10 at 12.
The starting point and ending point of the whole marathon are located in Century Square, Yulin City. On both sides of the track are landmark buildings such as Yulin Old Street, Zhenyuanmen and Shahe Park. The contestants in this competition attracted 12000 runners at home and abroad. Among them, there are 3,000 marathon runners, 4,000 half marathon runners and 5,000 happy runners.

This competition includes full marathon, half marathon and happy run. In the men's marathon, Ethiopian Weyesa Biru won the championship in 2 hours 17 minutes and 27 seconds, while China's Wang Tao ranked second and third with 2 hours 17 minutes and 42 seconds. The champion of the women's full marathon was won by compatriot Vika Tafa of Biju, while Chi Lingjie and Cao of China ranked second and third respectively.
According to reports, this competition is the third time that Yulin has held a marathon after 20 18 and 20 19. The starting point and ending point of this marathon are located in Century Square, Yulin City, and the track is flanked by landmark buildings such as Yulin Old Street, Zhenyuanmen and Shahe Park. After the competition, the contestants also felt the beauty of Yulin's natural ecology, history and humanities, livable urban and rural areas and green development.
