Brief Introduction of Birch Forest
The novel Birch Forest is one of Louis Stig's most representative works. The story tells the story of 28 reform-through-labour prisoners' depressed life in the military camp after World War II, when the old and new systems were replaced. When they met a beautiful and enthusiastic girl in a nearby village, they had all kinds of desires in their hearts, which finally came down to one point, that is, the yearning for freedom. Louis Teague's creation is unrestrained, completely ignoring the traditional mode of literature. His seemingly fragmented dialogue and unorganized plot just set off the tenacity, nobility and poetry of human nature.
