In 755 AD, the Anshi Rebellion broke out, and Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty was forced to flee Chang 'an. On the way to escape, 23-year-old Yang Yuhuan was forced to commit suicide. Her death made Tang Xuanzong very sad. In memory of her, he buried his daughter near Huaqing Palace under Huashan Mountain in Shaanxi Province. Li Bai was one of the famous poets in Tang Dynasty. His acquaintance with Princess Yu Zhen was during his exile.
At that time, Li Bai was banished to Ganzhou in the south because he opposed the political decision of Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty. There, he met a beautiful woman, said to be Yang Yuhuan's maid. The maid introduced Princess Yu Zhen to Li Bai and invited him to visit Huaqing Palace. After Li Bai arrived at Huaqing Palace, he hit it off with Princess Yu Zhen.
They appreciated each other's talents and cultural accomplishment and soon became good friends. In the next few years, Li Bai often went to Huaqing Palace to meet Princess Yu Zhen, and enjoyed tea, flowers and poetry together. Their communication not only enhanced their feelings, but also had a positive impact on each other's creation. According to legend, Li Bai once wrote many beautiful poems for Princess Yu Zhen, the most famous of which is Song of Eternal Sorrow.
This poem takes Yang Guifei as the theme and describes her love story and tragic ending with Tang Xuanzong. Although the authenticity of this poem is disputed, it is undoubtedly a classic in the history of China literature and a symbol of the deep friendship between Li Bai and Princess Yu Zhen. However, this beautiful friendship did not last long.
In 762 AD, Li Bai died of illness in Guizhou. His death made Princess Yu Zhen very sad. It is said that she cried bitterly after hearing the news until her death. Since then, Princess Yu Zhen has never seen Li Bai again, but her thoughts about him have been with her all her life.
Princess Yu Zhen and Li Bai have an ambiguous relationship. Li Bai's talent and unruly personality attracted Princess Yu Zhen, which led to their mutual admiration. In the Tang Dynasty, there was a wave of planting. As the younger sister of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, Princess Yu Zhen was also influenced by her to practice in Qingcheng Mountain, and Li Bai happened to live in seclusion with Yuan Danqiu, a Taoist friend at that time, so she met in Qingcheng Mountain.
At that time, Princess Yu Zhen was like a nine-day Xuan Nv in Li Bai's eyes, and Li Bai's unruly personality just attracted Princess Yu Zhen, and both of them had a * * * sound in the monastic world. Therefore, although Wang Wei was already there, Princess Yu Zhen still had feelings for Li Bai.
However, because Li Bai loves to drink and is always drunk, Princess Yu Zhen thinks that Li Bai is useless, and because of personality reasons, Li Bai offended many people in the palace and was finally eliminated by the officialdom. Finally, Li Bai heard the news of Princess Yu Zhen's departure and drowned his sorrows with wine.
The Relationship between Li Bai, Wang Wei and Princess Yu Zhen
Wang Wei and Princess Yu Zhen met for the first time, but because Wang Wei was too bored, he quit automatically. Before Wang Weilai, he got to know Wang Qi through music. Wang Qi recommended Wang Wei to Princess Yu Zhen, and became a distinguished guest of Princess Yu Zhen's family because of a rain robe.
Later, Wang Wei successfully passed the examination of Jinshi and took a small post in Beijing, but he was expelled from Beijing because he performed a program specially for the emperor. At that time, Princess Yu Zhen originally wanted to intercede for Wang Wei, but she found that Wang Wei was actually married, so she ignored it.
At that time, Wang Wei felt that he was very talented, but he pointed out behind his back that he was a soft meal, so he was happy to stay away from Princess Zhen. However, after staying in Jeju for four and a half years, he got tired of life in the country, resigned from his official position and secretly ran back to Beijing to find Princess Yu Zhen. However, Princess Yu Zhen at that time was disgusted with Wang Wei and missed the charming Li Bai, so Wang Wei left Princess Yu Zhen.
