What poems did Confucius compile?

Because most of the poems in The Book of Songs come from the people, they need to be edited and compiled into books. The Book of Songs is a long process, and there are different opinions in history. There are mainly three kinds: one is the theory of collecting poems, the other is the theory of offering poems, and the third is the theory of deleting poems. In the Spring and Autumn Period, Poetry 300 was widely circulated, and with the rise of private schools, it was designated as a textbook. Because Confucius was a leading scholar at that time, he put forward the theory of "Xing, Guan, Qun and Fen" in the Book of Songs, so it is said that Confucius compiled the Book of Songs, and because the total number of poems is 305, it is also called "Poetry 300".
