Why does Parvati eat Shiva?
The reason that Parvati ate Shiva was to attract Shiva's attention. According to the traditional version of this story, Parvati is Shiva's wife. In a meditation, she tried to attract Shiva's attention in various ways, but Shiva didn't respond. Therefore, parvati decided to achieve his goal through extreme practice. She decided not to eat any more food, which attracted the attention of the gods. In order to stop Parvati from practicing, the gods sent a goddess to send her food. Parvati refused these foods, but the gods told her that these foods were the sacred essence of Shiva, and if she ate them, she would eat Shiva. Out of deep love and dedication to Shiva, Parvati finally accepted these foods and ate Shiva.
