Johann wolfgang von goethe (1August 28th, 749-1March 22nd, 832) was born in Frankfurt am Main. As a dramatist, poet, natural scientist, literary theorist and political figure, Goethe is the most famous representative of Weimar classicism. Goethe 1749 was born in a wealthy citizen's family in Frankfurt Town (now Hesse) on August 28th.
