Difficulties and darkness often contain hope and light!
Wang Anshi resigned in his later years and lived in the "Mid-Mountain Garden" between the East Gate of jiangning house (Nanjing) and Zhongshan, enjoying the beautiful scenery and writing many exquisite and elegant quatrains. This poem was written by him inspired by the spirit in "Sailing in the Autumn River". The first two sentences are written in the sky and the last two sentences are written in the ground, which shows that the poet's vision is broad and profound. When writing the date, I conveniently explained the location (Jiangbei), season (Autumn) and time (Night), but what I explained was in the uncertain weather changes. "Autumn in the north of the Yangtze River is half open", which seems to have a tendency from cloudy to sunny. Who would have thought that it is autumn and the climate is so changeable that it has turned into "the sunset glow is rainy but low". Yin-semi-sunny-cloudy is not only the change of weather, but also the change of people's psychological mood, so some poets hang their heads under the rain clouds. But the meaning of this poem is not to succumb to the darkness, but to resist the darkness. The poet looked into the distance, although his vision was blocked by "green hills all around, and there was no road to doubt", but in "suddenly seeing Qian Fan looming", his vision was suddenly enlightened. The poet's observation of light and color is very meticulous. Qian Fan in the distance is sometimes visible and sometimes hidden, which corresponds to the influence of semi-sunny and semi-cloudy weather on the visibility of the river. Resisting the darkness can open the vision of Qian Fan's race, which is a philosophy of life or political philosophy experienced by poets through the change of scenery. So this poem is based on dialectical thinking. This idea is positive. People may think of it when they read the famous sentence of Lu You, a poet in the Southern Song Dynasty, "The mountains and rivers return to doubt and there is no way, and the willow blossoms are another village."
