Cultural Construction in Bajilei Town

The mass poetry culture in Bajilei Town originated earlier. In the early days of the People's Republic of China, under the impact of the joy of turning over and liberating, the broad masses of peasants expressed their love for the new society and the new era in the form of poems, paintings and rap drums, and a new socialist cultural movement of writing poems by the whole people rose. During the period of 1953, 20 poems were published in Jilin Culture News, and the representative work was "Go to my husband's house". 1956, another drum word "Eight Constitutions" was compiled into literacy textbooks. 1958 Our hometown was named the hometown of poetry by Jilin Province. During this period, many peasant poets emerged in Bajilei. Their songwriting is closely related to the fiery life of that era. A large number of poets (hundreds of people) such as Wang Zhenhai and Gao En have created a large number of well-known poems. The book Selected Poems of Farmers in Bajilei Township was published nationwide, and Bajilei's poems are famous all over the country, and this place is also famous all over the world. Comrade Song Renqiong, then secretary of the Northeast Bureau, visited our town personally, spoke highly of the poetry creation activities, and wrote a poem: "Peasants have poems since ancient times, and thousands of pearls are hidden underground. When the east wind blows rain, the garden is full of grass and flowers. " After that, Ba Jilei's poems were published all over the country. At that time, Wang Zhenhai's masterpiece was "Singing folk songs and shaking hands, the heart is sweet as honey". The famous poet Wang Zhenhai was cordially received by Premier Zhou Enlai in the Great Hall of the People. From the end of 1950s to the beginning of 1970s, this period was a glorious period for Bajire's poetry creation. With the passage of time, although some old poets died one after another, his poetry creation was passed down from generation to generation. Especially after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, a mass climax of poetry and ode was set off. 1992, bajilei shixiang literature society was established, and the poetry anthology published in 1993 and the wild duck literature newspaper were distributed at the Jilin provincial cultural work conference. At this conference, Bajilei Town was named as "Hometown with Cultural Characteristics" by the provincial government, and the famous poet Gao En was named as "Farmer Artist". People's Daily, Jilin Daily, Jilin TV Station, Changchun TV Station and many other media have made special reports on the culture of Bajilei Poetry Township for many times, which once again made the brand of Bajilei Poetry Township have a wide influence throughout the country and become a unique brand, image and human resource in our town.
