The important and difficult points and reflections on language and teeth in small classes in kindergarten

Today’s children eat too much sugar, and their teeth are broken early. Through this activity, children can know the benefits of brushing their teeth, master the correct method of brushing their teeth, and develop good habits to protect their teeth. And be able to insist on brushing your teeth morning and evening. Therefore, when designing activities, I always adhere to the principle of combining fun and education. Animation is the most interesting form for children, so I designed courseware with the help of multimedia, which played a big role in the activities and the children were very interested.

The activity is divided into three major links, with clear division of labor and interlocking. Let children understand teeth, understand the causes and dangers of dental caries, and take the initiative to protect teeth. The activity uses teaching methods such as experience exchange, physical observation, personal experience, understanding of reasons, expression and summary, etc., so that children can perceive and feel in many aspects, so that knowledge can be internalized into children's active behavior. The effect of the activity is good.

In the first link, riddles are used to introduce the content of this activity and stimulate children's interest. Today, the teacher brought a riddle to the children. Do you want to guess it? Mystery: The small stones are hard and white, neatly arranged in two rows, and brushed clean every morning and evening. They are strong and will not get damaged. What is it? Invite children to taste peanuts. Teacher: How do you eat peanuts? How to peel it off? How do you get peanuts into your stomach one by one? Children should chew peanuts with their teeth. Inspire children to think about and talk about the uses of teeth. Teacher’s summary: Teeth are really useful. They are white and hard. They can chew food and help digestion. To pave the way for experimental comparisons, show eggshells soaked in vinegar and eggshells that have not been soaked in vinegar, and guide children to observe and discuss: What are the differences between these two eggshells? Why do eggshells soaked in vinegar turn black and soft? Teacher: Eggshells are like our teeth, and vinegar is like harmful substances in the mouth. Over time, our teeth will be decayed. Provide courseware on the formation of dental caries and explain the causes of dental caries. We already know that eggshells will turn black and soft in vinegar. Now please take a look with a small mirror to see if any of your teeth have turned black or broken? Blackened and damaged teeth are called “caries”. Watch for cavities.

In the second session, the children are organized to discuss the causes of dental caries, and each child is given a sesame candy. After eating the candy, use a small mirror to observe what is on the teeth. Teacher: Just now, the children ate sesame candies and looked in the mirror. Now please tell me what’s in the gaps between your teeth? What does sugar taste like? Why is sugar sweet? The multimedia animation presentation tells the story "The Big Tiger Who Loves Sugar" and asks: Why are foxes afraid of big tigers? What bad idea did the fox think of to harm the big tiger? How are the tiger's teeth doing? Summary: If a tooth is broken, it will cause toothache, and it will be very uncomfortable when the toothache occurs. If you have a toothache, you need to see a doctor, take medicine, and get injections. Sometimes the bad tooth needs to be removed. It hurts so much. Children should protect their teeth and not let them break.

The third link is to prevent dental caries, protect teeth, exchange experiences, and guide children to discuss: how to prevent dental caries. Why do children’s teeth fall out? Ask children who have experienced tooth replacement to tell you about the process of losing teeth and growing new teeth. How to protect new teeth that have just grown in? What should I do if new teeth come in before my baby teeth fall out? Show the tooth model and toothbrush, explain the correct tooth brushing method, guide the children to practice the correct tooth brushing movements, and educate the children to develop the habit of brushing their teeth in the morning and evening. Discuss how to protect teeth? Teacher: We don’t want our teeth to break, so how should we protect them? Summary: We should eat more vegetables and fruits and less sweets, and develop the habit of brushing our teeth in the morning and evening, and gargling after meals, so that our teeth will be healthy and we will avoid toothache. Teachers and students dance to the music "Tooth Brushing Song". Children imitate the correct tooth brushing movements, sing and dance, and experience the joy of dental health.

Children observe the difference between eggs soaked in vinegar and the eggs we usually see, so that they understand that the real cause of tooth decay is the action of acidic substances. The children were very interested in this session, and they learned knowledge in a fun-filled way. Through this activity, children will know the benefits of brushing their teeth, master the correct method of brushing their teeth, develop good habits of protecting their teeth, and insist on brushing their teeth in the morning and evening.

Through this activity, children know the benefits of brushing their teeth, master the correct brushing method, develop good habits of protecting their teeth, and can insist on brushing their teeth in the morning and evening, achieving the design goal of this activity.
