Mulan's poems are selected from Yuefu poems compiled by Guo Maoqian in Northern Song Dynasty and Song Dynasty.

Mulan Poetry is a Yuefu folk song and a long narrative poem in the Northern Dynasties. It tells the story of a girl named Mulan who disguised herself as a man, joined the army for her father, made meritorious deeds on the battlefield, refused to be an official after returning to North Korea, and just wanted to go home and reunite. She warmly praised the woman's brave and kind qualities, her enthusiasm for defending the country and her fearless spirit.
