In the early years of the Western Zhou Dynasty, Duke Ji Dan, Ji Shi and Zhao Gong divided and ruled, and Ji Dan was stationed in Luoyi, the eastern capital; Ji Shi works in Haojiang, Xi Du. Nan Zhou was the southern basin ruled by the Duke of Zhou at that time; Zhao Nan is the southern basin ruled by Zhao Gong, while Ernan includes the poems of the Yangtze River, Hanshui River and Rushui River basin. Since it is poetic music, it is Nanyin. Therefore, Nan Zhou and Zhao Nan can be said to be more accurate.
The administrative scope of Nan Zhou is Hanshui and Rushui to the south of Luoyi, until the Yangtze River basin.
