Brief introduction of Dayingjiang IV hydropower station

Dayingjiang IV Hydropower Station is located in the lower reaches of Dayingjiang River in Yingjiang County, Dehong Prefecture, in the deep mountain valley. This is the last cascade hydropower station planned by China. The power station is a runoff diversion power station, with the maximum dam height of 35.5m, the normal water level of the reservoir of 585.0m and the dead water level of 584.0m, and the corresponding storage capacity is about15.99×104m3. It has no adjustment ability, no immigration and inundation, and has little impact on the environment. The total length of diversion tunnel is 13974.5 m, and the design reference flow is 292 cubic meters per second. The installed capacity of the power station is 875(5× 175)MW, the guaranteed output is 92.2 1MW, the average power generation for many years is 341800 million KW·h, and the installed utilization hour is 4883h h. The total investment in engineering design is about 2,989.07 million yuan, and all four units were completed and put into operation in 2009.
