Pushkin was born in Moscow in 1799 into an aristocratic family. The young Pushkin was suave and talented. In May 1830, he fell in love at first sight with his wife, Goncharova, a stunning beauty from Moscow, and later got married.
A few years later, George Dantes, an officer of the Tsarist Guards and a French dandy, accidentally met Pushkin's wife Goncharova at a dance and launched a fierce offensive against her. After Pushkin knew that his marriage was threatened, in order to defend his sacred love, he decided to fight Dantes to the death.
A weak-faced scholar who is nearly forty years old is going to duel with a young and energetic officer of the Tsarist Guards to compete in marksmanship. The result can be imagined. The two parties in the duel were within twenty steps of each other and should have fired at each other at the same time. However, Dantes, a gangster, fired in advance, causing Pushkin to be shot in the abdomen and seriously injured.

Tsar Nicholas I, who was already very dissatisfied with Pushkin's large number of works that directly attacked the corrupt Tsarist government, not only did not severely sentence Dantes, but instead pardoned him, allowing him to return to France and become a member of parliament. Some people even believe that the duel between Pushkin and Dantes was planned by the Tsar and those around Dantes.
However, good will be rewarded with good, and evil will be punished with evil. Dantes' granddaughter grew up to become a loyal reader of Pushkin. Later, when she learned that her grandfather had killed Pushkin, she chose to commit suicide.
