I want clothes and flowers to be beautiful, and the spring breeze blows the world and records the flower pool, which is the quality of peony flowers described.
It's from "The First Tune of Qingping" written by Li Bai in the Tang Dynasty. The original text:
Clouds want clothes and flowers to make them look beautiful, and the spring breeze blows over the threshold to reveal the richness.
if we don't meet in the head of the Jade Mountain, we will meet in the moonlight at Yaotai.
Translation:
Your appearance and dress are so beautiful and moving that even white clouds and peonies will come to dress you up. The spring breeze is swaying and gently brushing the railing, and the beautiful peony flowers look more gorgeous in the crystal dew. Your beauty is really like a fairy.
If I don't see you in the Wonderland Group Yushan, I can only appreciate your face in Yaotai of the Queen Mother of the West.
Appreciation:
This poem is ingenious in imagination, handy, and shows no signs of artifice. The language in the poem is rich and colorful, and every word is flowing. If you read this poem, you will feel that the spring breeze is full of paper, the flowers are full of eyes, and the face is blurred. There is no need to describe it. Naturally, people feel that this is a peony, a beautiful jade color, and nothing else.
in the first sentence, the peony flower is more beautiful than the imperial concubine. The first sentence compares clothes with clouds and looks with flowers; Two sentences write that flowers are exposed to the spring breeze, just as concubines are favored by kings; Three sentences compare the fairy with the imperial concubine; Four sentences compare Chang 'e with the noble lady.
This repeated comparison creates a beautiful image as gorgeous as a peony. However, the poet used the words of clouds, flowers, dew, Yushan, Yaotai and moonlight, and praised the fullness of the imperial concubine without showing any trace.
artistically, this poem mainly uses a variety of rhetorical devices.
