What does God's will mean?

The Bible says, "The secret things belong to the Lord our God, and the obvious things belong to us and our children forever, so that we may keep all the words of this law." (Deuteronomy 29: 29) Therefore, people who believe in the Lord can understand God's will in some way, because all the truths revealed by the Bible are understood by people who believe in God. On the other hand, as for the secret of God, it belongs to God himself, which is not something we can ask and understand. Then, what we discuss about God's will should be limited to what we can know, that is, the obvious things of God. When we talk about God's will, we should explain it from the following four aspects: 1. God's eternal will refers to what God has set forever, which must be realized and become a fact in a certain time according to his will and plan. That is God's creation and redemption in Jesus Christ. (Task 23:13-14; Ephesians 1: 4-6) 2. The hidden meaning of God refers to the will ordained by God, which is hidden in the heart, unknown to the world and cannot be asked. That is beyond our understanding, just like how Jesus was betrayed and how his disciple Judas betrayed Jesus Christ. God's hidden will is incomprehensible, and we can only. (Deuteronomy 29: 29; Matt. 27: 3-5) III. The obvious will of God refers to the truth revealed by the Bible and the gospel and deeds of Jesus, which are known records and facts. As John said, "But these things are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ and the Son of God, and that if you believe in him, you may have life in his name." (about 20: 3 1), (Shenshen 29: 29; Luke 22: 23; Acts 2: 22-24) IV. God allows unbelief and evil behavior, rebellion and deviance. These things happen because of the stubbornness and apostasy of sinners and the abuse of their freedom, but they happen with God's permission. Because this is not only allowed by God, but also has his negative guidance and goodwill. (Gen 50: 20; Luo1:28-32; 9: 15- 16) The following discussion on understanding God's will is limited to two aspects: God's manifestation and permitted will. Before discussing how to understand God's will, we should first point out who can understand God's will. You know, a person who wants to understand God's will must know himself, and a person who wants to know himself must know God. Only he who knows God knows himself. Because the relationship between knowing God and knowing yourself is based on the mediator relationship with God, as the Bible says, "Because there is only one God, there is only one mediator between God and people, that is, Christ Jesus who came to the world. He regards himself as the redemption price of everyone, which will be proved in due course. " (Tim. 2.5-6) Therefore, if a person wants to know God and thus know himself, he cannot but know Jesus Christ, the mediator between the world and God. Because he believed in him, he became a child of God, so he could understand God's will. The following are the basic and necessary conditions for Christians to understand God's will: First, all doctrines that conform to the Bible are God's will. We believe that the Bible is the truth revealed by God, and it is the highest criterion of all beliefs and behaviors, thinking and life, theory and theory, morality and ethics. Its purpose is to let people who believe in Jesus know God's plan and mind. Make us understand his revelation and teaching, make us gain the wisdom of salvation, believe in Jesus as savior and live forever. In this way, we can live according to the will of the Lord and be pleased with him. Therefore, it is God's will to follow the teaching of the Bible and the guidance of truth. "The Bible is inspired by God, which is beneficial to teaching, reprimanding, correcting and teaching righteousness." (3: 16). On the other hand, all personal opinions, secular truths, humanistic theories and relative views are not God's will. (Reference 8: 31-32; 6: 12-20 and 7:19-24; Add 5: 1). Second, everything that comes from God's word and is confirmed by the Holy Spirit is God's will. The Bible says, "Whoever confesses that Jesus Christ came in the flesh is from God. From then on, you can recognize the spirit of God. " (1 John 4: 2) Therefore, we can know that no matter what is recorded in the Bible, God works for us through the Holy Spirit and the words of the Bible, proving that God's promises and promises are true and correct. This is obviously out of God's will. "When you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in Christ and him, you were marked by the promised Holy Spirit. This is the evidence of our inheritance until God's people were redeemed and his glory was praised. "(F. 1: 13- 14), therefore, we must rely on the word of the Lord to guide us to work with the holy spirit, so that our experience can be confirmed and what we do is out of God's will. "Everything that is true, respectable, just, clean, loving and can be praised. If there is any virtue, if there is any praise, these should be missed. ..... Do all these things, and the God of peace will be with you. (Philippians 4: 8-9). On the other hand, any co-worker who is not truth and has no Holy Spirit is not out of God's will. (8: 14- 16, 26-28; About 14: 16- 17). Third, everything that glorifies God and benefits people is God's will. The purpose of Christian life is to glorify the name of God, and everyone should please the Lord. This is the central idea of life. Moreover, our bodies and souls, whether alive or dead, belong to the faithful savior Jesus Christ, so everything we do is to glorify the Lord, just as the Bible says, "Everything we do is to glorify God." Whatever you do, you should do it from the heart, as if it were for the Lord rather than for people. "

(before forest 1. 10: 3 1; Col. 3: 23), therefore, everything that conforms to the teaching of the Bible and can create people, benefit people and glorify God's name must be done, which is to fulfill God's will on us. On the other hand, everything we do is not God's will, unless it is to help others, or to humiliate the name of the Lord and make people fall. (Qian Lin10: 31-33; West 3: 22-24; 1 Peter 4: 7- 1 1). Fourth, everything that belongs to spiritual peace and joy is God's will. We are born again not only because of Jesus' redemption, but also because the Holy Spirit is saved through the Word of God. Therefore, no matter what the Holy Spirit does in our hearts through the word of the Lord, we all have a peaceful and joyful heart. As long as what we do conforms to the teaching of the Bible and the mind of the Lord, the Lord will give us a spirit of peace and a happy heart, so that what we do will be more and more accompanied by the presence of the Lord and inner joy. On the other hand, the more we do anything that doesn't conform to God's will, the less peace and joy we have. That's not God's will. Because anything that is not divorced from the facts will be hindered in many ways and will get worse and worse. That's not providence. "If a person does not have the spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ." Therefore, the inner evidence and smooth road of the Holy Spirit are guided by the Holy Spirit. "I leave you peace, and I will give you my peace. What I give is not like what the world gives. Don't be sad and don't be timid. " "rejoice in the Lord forever ... the god of peace will be with you." (Rom。 8: 9; Approximately14: 27; Philippians 4: 4,9). Fifth, everything that the body in the Lord recognizes and witnesses is God's will. Because all the people who are guided by God's Spirit are the sons of God ... The Holy Spirit proves with our hearts that we are God's children. ""So we can identify them by their fruits. Not everyone who calls me Lord, Lord, can enter the kingdom of heaven, only those who do the will of my heavenly father can enter. (Luo 8:14-16; Matt 7: 20-2 1), so we know that the holy spirit not only gives peace and joy, but also gives.

People who believe in the Lord have the spirit of unity and witness, so that we can know what God's will is. Because the Holy Spirit will guide us to know whether what we do is from God's will, and at the same time he will be moved by the Holy Spirit to prove whether what we do is from God's will. In addition, the identification and confirmation of the body in the Lord is also an important key to understanding whether God will. On the other hand, if what we do is not out of God's will and the identity and witness of church members, then we should not do so. (See Luo 8:14-16; Acts 5: 32; About15: 26-27; 1 John 5: 7). Sixth, all the guidance and advice given by spiritual elders is God's will. In Christ, God has not only given us some spiritual limbs, but also some spiritual elders and leaders in our church, so that we can know the Son of God and grow up to be full of Christ's stature. These spiritual elders and mature Christians are our spiritual teachers and templates, and we can learn the knowledge of truth and spiritual experience from their bodies and experiences. Therefore, their opinions, suggestions, exhortations and warnings can help and guide us to understand God's will. "You are young, also want to obey the older. Gird up your loins with humility and obey each other, for God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. (1 Peter 5: 5), (see. 4: 12- 16; Li Xinyi 1-3) On the other hand, anyone who refuses the advice of spiritual elders and goes his own way is not out of God's will, so he should be warned. Seventh, all the unchangeable truths that can stand the test of time are the will of God and the unchangeable truths and facts in the Bible, which can stand the test of time and change with the times, so that we can know that the God we believe in is a faithful and reliable true God. God does not procrastinate or change with the environment, because he will never change, and his kindness is the eternal savior. Therefore, we who believe in him should also learn to wait patiently in what we do, because time is the best witness, and God can make us experience unexpected miracles. The most important thing is whether we have enough people to believe, obey, endure and wait to carry out the Lord's will in his time. As it is written, "God has prepared things for those who love him that his eyes have not seen, his ears have not heard, and his heart has not thought of. ""Trust God quietly and wait patiently for him ... Wait for the Lord and keep his way, and he will praise you. " (before forest 1. 2: 9; Psalm 37: 7, 34) On the other hand, anyone who can't stand the test of time is bound to disappear with the passage of time, not out of God's will. (Reference 3: 1, 8:16; Luke 2: 4; About 7: 30, 10: 23, 13: 1). Conclusion: How can Christians understand that what we do is in line with God's will? We can think and contest the pros and cons from the above seven suggestions, and then we can distinguish what is providence. "May the God who gives peace personally give you peace anytime and anywhere, and may all those who sincerely love our Lord Jesus Christ be blessed. "(Post 3:16; Ephesians 6: 24).
