? 1, Introduction to Shi Pingmei

Shi Pingmei (1902- 1928), a modern female writer and revolutionary activist in China, is one of the "four talented women in the Republic of China". His original name was Ruby, and because he admired the beauty and firmness of plum blossom, he took Shi Pingmei as his pen name.
