He Jingzhi's Poetic Types

He Jingzhi's poems can be divided into two categories:

Such as Singing, Ode to Ten Years, Song of Lei Feng, October in China, etc. His political lyrics are not only numerous, but also outstanding.

He Jingzhi's poetry is an ode to the times. He always grasps the most important events and main life contents of the times with keen eyes, instead of singing those tears and sorrows that have nothing to do with the people. Back to Yan 'an shows the great changes in Yan 'an, praises the historical achievements of Yan 'an, and points out the new significance of Yan 'an spirit in the period of socialist construction. Song of Lei Feng excavates the era connotation of Lei Feng spirit. Ode to October is a tribute to the 10th anniversary of New China.

Through imagination, exaggeration and fantasy, He Jingzhi's poems show the revolutionary romanticism style based on the revolutionary ideal. And pay attention to absorb the nutrition of folk songs and ancient poems, and do not rule out the influence of foreign poems. For example, the style of "believing in heaven" and the style of "staircase" were fused and cast by the poet with skillful brushwork.
