Richard strauss (1864- 1949) is an outstanding German composer and conductor in modern times. He was born in Munich on 1864. His father is a horn player in a court band. He began to compose music at the age of five. Before he was ten years old, he wrote festival marches and woodwind serenades. After studying at the University of Munich, he dropped out of school and went to the Manning Root Band, where he served as the deputy conductor of the famous conductor Biro, and then as the official conductor. In the band, influenced by the second violinist and music philosopher Ritter, he asked for "taking the works of Liszt, Berlioz and Wagner as examples to express music".
