Eight aspects of Tai Ji Chuan's posture should be explained in detail.

The previous Eight Essentials of Body Statues was compiled into a seven-character poem by Li Yishe. The original text is as follows: "Lift the top, lift the hips, lift the shoulders and sink the elbows; The bag must be down, including the chest, and naturally pull the back. " Regarding the explanation of "lifting the top" by martial arts descendants, Mr. Hao Shaoru said: "The head is upright, not high or low, and the gas penetrates the top, lifting the whole body, which is called lifting the top."

The difference between the post "Eight Essentials of Pose" and the former "Eight Essentials of Pose" is "hip protection" and "crotch drop". Yan Jiao's "hip protection" means "the hip is relaxed and natural, and the front part is restrained", which is very similar to the "hip retraction" in contemporary Tai Ji Chuan technology, but for "hip lowering", it puts forward the connotation that has nothing in common with "hanging the hip": "Hip lowering must be slaughtered at the waist, with the spine as the axis, and the limbs are driven by the body to change the turning direction."
