Ancient poetry
Antique refers to ancient poetry. Poetry also has a name, which is ancient poetry. There are fifteen national styles in The Book of Songs, and later generations extended poetry as' wind'. After the Tang Dynasty, poets wrote ancient poems, which were often called "ancient style" or marked "ancient style" in the title, as opposed to metrical poems. For example, Li Bai wrote 59 "Antique". Ancient styles are divided into five ancient styles and seven ancient styles, which is only a rough division. According to the standard of temperament, ancient poetry can be divided into ancient poetry and modern poetry. Classical poetry and modern poetry are concepts formed in the Tang Dynasty. Before the Tang Dynasty, poems were written with free rhymes, and each sentence was four, five, six, seven, and miscellaneous (more people in later generations used classical poems with seven words). Therefore, people in the Tang Dynasty called this kind of poetry ancient poetry, also known as ancient poetry and ancient style. In addition to five words and seven words, there are so-called miscellaneous words. Miscellaneous words are a mixture of long and short sentences, mainly three, five and seven sentences, among which there are occasionally four, six and more than seven words. Miscellaneous poems generally do not have another category, only belong to the seven ancient. Even if there are no seven words in the article, as long as they are long and short sentences, they will be classified as seven ancient. This is a conventional classification and has no theoretical basis. Modern poetry, compared with classical poetry, is also called modern poetry, which is a kind of metrical poetry formed in the Tang Dynasty. It is divided into quatrains and metrical poems, and its number of words, sentences, levels and rhymes are strictly regulated. Please click on the link below for detailed explanation and examples ~
