What is Tao Xingzhi’s educational philosophy?

Life is education, teaching and doing are one, and action is the beginning of knowledge.

Specific concepts:

1. "A teacher should not specialize in teaching, his responsibility is to teach people how to behave; students should not specialize in studying, his responsibility is to learn the way of life."

2. “The fate of young people is in the hands of teachers, and the fate of the nation and mankind is in their hands.”

3. “Because morality is the foundation of being a human being. The fundamentals are the same. Bad, even if you have some knowledge and skills, it will be of little use."

4. "The teacher's duty is to teach people a thousand things, and to teach people to seek truth; the student's duty is to learn a thousand things. "Everything learned, learn to be a real person." ?

5. "Intelligence, benevolence and courage are important spiritual heritages in China. In the past, they were regarded as the "great virtues of the world", but today they are still important indicators of perfect personal development. "?

6. Training and educating people is the same as planting flowers and trees. You must first understand the characteristics of flowers and trees, fertilize, water and educate them according to different situations. This is called "teaching students in accordance with their aptitude."

7. People are like trees. We must make them grow as high as possible. We cannot force them to grow to the same height. They should seek equality at the footing and freedom at the beginning.
