Guzheng "Running Water" Part I Image of Water
The image of water in the first part of Guzheng Flowing Water is a gurgling mountain spring. The introduction is played slowly in a scattered tone: the musical atmosphere of this introduction is silent, and then the melody keeps jumping in a wide range, changing the range, and still seeing the top of the mountain, the clouds are lingering. The whole "beginning part" tune has clear rhythm and lively mood, and the clear overtone is like a "cold current clanking between you and me." Clear and cold, the trickle of pine roots expresses the pleasure of listening to running water in the deep mountains and forests. Most of the "flowing water" circulating now is handed down by Zhang Kongshan, a pianist of Qingcheng School in Sichuan in Qing Dynasty. It makes full use of the fingering of "overtone, roll, row, row, note, up and down", further showing the effect of surging water, and is known as "72 rolls of running water". Running water vividly describes the various trends of running water. There are gurgling mountain springs, gurgling streams and rushing rivers. With sincere feelings, I enthusiastically praised the magnificent mountains and rivers of the motherland.
