Collection of works in Longzhou Uprising Memorial Hall

Longzhou Uprising Memorial Hall, formerly known as the Revolutionary Memorial Hall of the Eighth Army of the Chinese Red Army, was established in 1 February 19851. In August 2004, the new museum was renamed Longzhou Uprising Memorial Hall. The museum collects many precious revolutionary cultural relics and historical materials during the Longzhou Uprising and the Eighth Army of the Chinese Red Army. The special exhibition "Red Longzhou" is divided into 22 parts, the exhibition route is more than 680 meters long, more than 400 three-dimensional cultural relics are exhibited, and more than 800 pictures and charts of plane cultural relics are rich and informative, which fully reflects the glorious fighting course of Longzhou uprising, anti-imperialist and anti-feudal Red Eighth Army and the great achievements of people of all ethnic groups in Zuojiang in their heroic struggle to win the democratic revolution. In the form of display, the traditional display techniques are broken, and cultural relics, pictures and scenes are used to improve the overall effect of display. It is an important place for people to receive education in patriotism and revolutionary tradition, and it is also a good place for sightseeing.
