Interpretation of Wen Xiu's Ancient Poems on Dragon Boat Festival

Wen Xiu's ancient Dragon Boat Festival poems are explained as follows:

When does the Dragon Boat Festival start? For what? The legend of predecessors is to commemorate Qu Yuan, a doctor of Chu State.

Ironically, even the mighty Miluo River can't wash away the grievances of loyal people.

2. Qu Yuan (340-278 BC): the earliest romantic in China, and a politician in Chu during the Warring States Period. The name is flat and the word is original. Yin, Shanxi merchants' doctors and imperial concubines were vilified, excluded and exiled. Chu State was defeated by Qin State, and after the fall of Ying Capital, it sank into the Miluo River. According to legend, the custom of Dragon Boat Festival originated in memory of Qu Yuan.
