The original words are accurate; this comes from Chapter 34, verse 4 of Psalms in the Old Testament of the Bible.
I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.
The simplified Chinese Bible is translated as follows:
I sought Lord, he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.
But I don’t think sought should be understood as seeking. My understanding is to pray.
David said that when he encountered difficulties, he prayed to the Lord, and the Lord would hear his prayers and cast away all his fears.
