Reading and Writing Training —— Simulate the rain in Kunming with students

Yangzhou's Bridge

Reading Rain in Kunming by Wang Zengqi. I can't help thinking of the bridge in Yangzhou.

I miss the bridge in Yangzhou.

I was born in Jiangnan. Although I haven't been to many places, I still have some ideas about small bridges and flowing water, because Jiangnan is a place with many bridges, the stone bridge next to the house, the high stone arch bridge behind the village where boats can cross, and the winding covered bridge in the park, which makes us feel that small bridges and flowing water are unique to Jiangnan. In particular, Changchun Bridge, the pearl at the source of Taihu Lake, is a unique place.

But when I arrived in Yangzhou, I realized that in addition to flowing water, small bridges can be full of poetry, cultural stories and deep feelings. ...

Our campus is next to Slender West Lake. And our dormitory is separated by Slender West Lake Park. You can see it from the window of the dormitory opposite us. Wu Ting Bridge, the landmark building of Slender West Lake Park across the road. There are basically no chariots and horses in that narrow path, and occasionally some farmers go to the edge to farm. Looking around, in some tourist seasons, we can see many people in the park, especially on the high Wu Ting Bridge. There will always be tourists stopping to look at the distance, which is the highest place in the park. Standing there, you can see the beautiful scenery of Slender West Lake, and there will be many yachts and cruise ships of various shapes rowing around the lake under the bridge. I remember that at that time, the class organized garden activities, and all the students boarded the boat and rowed, and the lake suddenly became lively. Until now, it seems that the game of chasing after each other that day has not ended, and the singing and laughter are still in my ears. The white goose boat we rowed seems to be still playing hide-and-seek in the bridge opening of Wu Ting Bridge. ...

At that time, one of the activities we had to do was to run from the east gate of our campus every day. The east school gate is a tall red wooden door with antique cornices. Crossing the high wooden threshold is a masonry road that only a few people can walk side by side. The roadside is a part of Slender West Lake. There are no railings by the roadside. Like other waterside roadsides in the city, a peach tree and a willow tree are planted alternately. In spring, pink, willow and green are everywhere. There is an east-west road about 50 meters north along that road. Crossing the road is the gate of Slender West Lake Park. When we were running, we turned right, climbed a high arch bridge-Dahongqiao, then headed east, passed the door of the bonsai garden and ran to the crossroads to punch in. Along the way, most of them are students who run in our school, and some citizens who run and keep fit. Occasionally, I will meet people who are leisurely carrying birdcages, probably going to the teahouse in front. There are no cars coming and going along the way, because the big Hongqiao is really high. Seen from the school gate, the bridge opening of Hongqiao and its reflection form a bright circle.

At that time, what we often did after school was probably walking. The fixed route is from the east gate to the south, almost 50 meters, and it will pass a bridge, but this bridge is relatively flat and has no decoration. I didn't even notice the name of the stone bridge. The bridge deck is a relatively flat slate. This is a road leading to the ancient city of Yangzhou, so there are often people dressed as farmers carrying things and riding through here. There are some agricultural products in the bag and car. Sometimes there are donkey carts and tricycles. Besides, we students walk and talk in twos and threes. We like to stop at the stone bridge and look at the campus best, because we can see Hong Ting in the corner of the campus and the teaching building of our Chinese Department hidden among the trees. This road has not been abandoned.

At that time, every Sunday and holiday, in addition to class activities, several students in our dormitory would walk around the campus, but the tickets for Slender West Lake Park were too expensive for us students who were nervous about eating. So, starting from the road outside the fence on the west side of the park, traveling around Slender West Lake has become our regular activity. At that time, we walked all the way to point out the park, picturesque, winding from the west to the north of the park, passing through nearby villages, and then walking around the lake on the east side of the park. The lake is overgrown with reeds, weeds and no pedestrians. When we walk carefully, it seems like an adventure. Especially in some places, the road is very narrow, with lakes on one side and reeds on the other. Holding hands, we passed by slowly and held our breath. When we passed by, we dared to gasp loudly and laugh wildly, which was quite like the Red Army crossing the grass. Finally, at the end of the road, we arrived at the high arch bridge-Dahongqiao. After a pleasant trip, the winding path left our deep and shallow footprints, but this winding path remained in our respective memories forever, even in my dreams.

In fact, the most fascinating thing in my memory is the 24 th Bridge.

Castle peak is vaguely green water thousands of miles away, and the vegetation in the south of the Yangtze River has not withered in autumn. On the moonlit night of the 24th Bridge, where do jade people teach flute? "This poem has been circulated for more than 1000 years and is well known to all women and children. Poetry is sung because of the bridge, and the bridge is famous for poetry. To the west of Wu Ting Bridge is the location of the 24th Bridge.

There is also "Yangzhou Slow" by Jiang Kui: "Twenty-four Bridges are still there, but Leng Yue is silent. Read the red medicine by the bridge, who do you know every year? " This makes us want to see her style.

Writer Zhu Ziqing once recalled his hometown with passion. "There are many historical sites inside and outside the city, such as Wenxuan Building, Tianbao City, Tang Lei and Twenty-four Bridges.

Unfortunately, it was still being rebuilt, and the high wall was so tight that we couldn't see her even if we stood on tiptoe. I didn't visit here until I returned to school 25 years later. The brand-new 24 Bridge next to the familiar Wu Ting Bridge is a single-span arch bridge with white marble railings, flowing like jade belts and neon ripples. Listen to the introduction: the bridge is 24 meters long and 2.4 meters wide, with 24 columns and 24 floors, which seems to correspond to 24 everywhere. The relief of the colorful clouds chasing the moon on the white fence, the clever lake stones piled up at the junction of the bridge and the water, and the cinnamon planted around it make people see clouds, water, flowers and the moon at any time, experience the wonderful scenery of the "Moonlight Night on the Twenty-four Bridges" and think of the romantic story of Du Mu. And her reappearance has enriched the Slender West Lake a lot, and also made Yangzhou's bridge flawless.

In fact, what remains in my memory are the braised pork ribs in the school canteen, the pickled mustard tuber instant noodles in the school shop, the steamed dumplings wrapped in red glutinous rice in the tin can shop at the school gate, the amazing boiled dried silk in the dim sum shop next to the auditorium, and the steaming steamed bread in the tea room window. ...

But when the fireworks are in March, I always think of the bridge in Yangzhou.

When will you set foot on the stone bridge you once set foot on again? When are you going to climb that tall Hongqiao? When are we going to drill the large and small holes of Wu Ting Bridge? When shall we go to the winding 24 bridge again?
