After the collapse of the Rosas dictatorship, Argentine literature saw the emergence of the last few romantic poets and a group of writers with realist and naturalistic tendencies, including the poet Olegario Andrade ( 1839-1882), who described natural scenery with a strong lyrical style; Rafael Ofrigado (1851-1920), who represented the typical character of Gaucho; the author of the poetry collections "Leaves in the Wind" and "Distant Echoes" The author Carlos Guido y Spano (1827-1918); and the writer Pedro Bonifacio Palacios (1854-1917) with a unique style.
