Reflections on childhood horses

I read the book "Childhood Horse" during the summer vacation, and I was deeply touched.

Freedom is the core vocabulary of this book. What is freedom? Be your own master; Unlimited, unconstrained, this is the dictionary explanation. A sentence on the cover of this book fully explains the power of freedom, "There is a kind of bird that can't be caged, because every feather of it shines with freedom." Countless events in history are related to freedom. More than 2,000 years ago, Chen Sheng, a light-armed man, stepped forward in pursuit of freedom and broke the shackles of the Qin Dynasty. About 100 years ago, Sun Yat-sen and others overthrew the feudal dynasty for more than 2,000 years in pursuit of freedom. More than 20 years ago, Deng Xiaoping opened the closed door of China in pursuit of freedom ... Today, freedom has become the most basic right of everyone, and the foundation of a fully developed normal society is the freedom of each individual. Because we only have one life, we must set it free. Everyone should be the master of his own life. To paraphrase the author in the postscript, "I believe that no one can deprive you of your freedom, believe' (you are free). Let's go back to reality, the society is still full of all kinds of freedoms, the childhood of primary school students is occupied by cram schools, and the freedom of happiness is obliterated; Under the current college entrance examination system, everyone's life path seems to have been determined, but nothing more than studying, taking exams, studying again, taking exams again, and the freedom of choice has been obliterated. There are many things that are not free in society, but don't turn a blind eye to them because of your low status. A primary school student has the same right to defend people's freedom as the president, so don't worry, don't be afraid, shout out your slogan of pursuing freedom.

But this is not entirely correct, because some people have the right to freedom of speech, and some people publish false information on the Internet, causing panic among the masses. Because of the right to freedom of assembly, some people spread cults and even set themselves on fire, causing unrest. What's going on here? There is another explanation for freedom. Citizens have the right to carry out their own will activities without restriction within the scope prescribed by law. Please note that the premise is within the scope of the law. To sum up, there is no absolute freedom in reality, and freedom is based on a certain foundation. Maybe you can clearly see the shackles of laws and regulations, but you are still free.

Besides, if we think that being restricted is not freedom, what do those who are oppressed say? That's about to start with the title of this book, "Above". What's up there? Obviously it can't be understood literally. As far as I know, "high above" means freedom of thought. As long as you transcend adversity and live actively, you will give yourself freedom of mind. When Patrick said, "Give me liberty or give me death", Xiong Peiyun said, "If I am not free, I can still live". Indeed, although my body is not free, I can still live, which requires our freedom of thought and mind. Let's get back to reality, so don't complain about how miserable our situation is, how tired our work is, how much our salary is, or how strict our boss is … and so on. It's just a little bit of life in the world. How can I break the freedom in my heart? We should face these small setbacks with an open mind and firmly believe what Xiong Peiyun said: "If you are not free, you can still live". Although you can't change the environment, you can change yourself. Life is your own. You can choose to let it wither at this moment, or you can choose to let it continue to bloom beautiful flowers in adversity and live freely. Remember, you are the easiest to change. When you stop moping and complaining about your work or study, but face it with an optimistic and cheerful attitude, you may be surprised to find that your work or study is no longer boring, and even you will enjoy it, and maybe a new life will come to you.

Freedom is sublime, indeed, let our hearts follow freedom to the highest point.
