④ Tianjia’s Song of the Four Seasons
In spring, the spring breeze blows, and
flowers bloom, grass grows, and butterflies fly.
The wheat seedlings are tender and the mulberry leaves are plump.
In summer, farming is busy,
picking sericulture and planting rice seedlings.
Get up early and work hard, and wear the moonlight when you return.
In autumn, the rice comes into play,
The grains are as fragrant as grains of gold.
Although my body is hard, my heart is full of joy.
In winter, the snow is beginning to clear,
Newly made cotton clothes are warm and light.
It’s been a year of farming, and everyone is smiling.
