Sheren in Shangdaxi is a five-character poem written by Meng Jiao, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. Daxi is a compound surname; Give up people for official positions. Dry hope poem is a kind of poem written by ancient literati to promote themselves, similar to the present self-recommendation letter. Meng Jiao had an eventful life and a bumpy career.
