"The road ends with white clouds, and the spring and green streams grow" means that the mountain road is cut off by white clouds outside the dusty world, and the spring light is like a clear stream with a long source.
Que Ti
Tang Dynasty: Liu Zhenxu?
The road ends with white clouds, and the spring is long with green streams.
From time to time, fallen flowers arrive, and the fragrance is carried by the flowing water from afar.
Xianmen faces the mountain road, and is in the deep willow reading hall.
Every day, the bright light shines on your clothes.
Interpretation:
The mountain road is cut off by white clouds outside the dusty realm, and the spring light is like a clear stream with a long flowing stream. From time to time, fallen flowers drift along with the stream, and the fragrance in the water can be smelled from a distance. The quiet Jingmen faces the winding mountain road, and there is a reading hall hidden deep in the willow shade. Whenever the sun shines through the secluded realm of willow shade, its quiet brilliance fills my clothes.
Appreciation:
This poem describes the scenery in every line, is poetic and picturesque, and is full of beautiful lines. It can be regarded as Liu Shenxu's masterpiece. The poem describes a villa in the mountains and its beautiful environment. At the beginning, I wrote about the scene of entering the mountains. "The road ends from the white clouds" means that the road to the villa starts from the end of the white clouds. It can be seen that the terrain here is quite high. By starting this way, a large section of the text on mountain climbing has been hidden, thus saving a lot of procrastination. At the same time, it implies that the poet is already walking on the road leading to the villa and is not too far away from the villa.
Creative background:
This poem was originally supposed to have a title, but it was lost for some reason. Yin Fan, a man from the prosperous Tang Dynasty, did not have a title when he compiled this poem in "He Yue Ying Ling Ji", so later generations had to give it the word "que title" as the title.
