Seven-character quatrains are one of Li Bai's best poetic genres. In terms of style, they can be written lightly and elegantly, such as "Early Sending of Baidicheng" or pathos, such as "Smelling the flute in Los Angeles on a Spring Night". From the theme, whether it is farewell, nostalgia, scenery writing and romance, it is free and easy. It can be said that Li Bai's seven wonders have reached the realm of superb and omnipotent. The two songs "Nagato's Complaints" selected here can let us appreciate the unique style of Li Bai's Seven Musts.
Nagato's complaint, as its name implies, is a poem about palace complaints, which comes from an old topic in Yuefu. According to legend, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty favored Wei Zifu, and Empress Chen was frustrated, so she had to retire to the palace and be unhappy. Later, when she heard that Sima Xiangru, a Shu native, was good at writing ci and fu, she sent someone to send 100 Jin of gold and asked Sima Xiangru to write an article to relieve boredom. So, he wrote the famous "Changmen Fu" for Chen. Unexpectedly, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty also saw this poem and was deeply moved, so he got back together with Queen Chen. Later generations created Yuefu poems with Nagato's resentment as the theme. Many scholars have written it all the time, because the stories of the Golden Palace of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty and the Cold Palace of Queen Chen are almost household names in China. However, due to everyone's different horizons and positions, the poems written show different tendencies and feelings. Li Bai's poems always have their own opinions and styles, but they are not unconventional, so they can often win by surprise, saying what others can't say and saying what others can't say. He wrote two songs in Nagato Complaint, which can be split or merged. In short, the layout has its own emphasis; Watch together, take care of each other, and be a perfect match. Among similar subjects, it is very famous.
"When the sky returns to Beidou and hangs on the West Building, there is no firefly in the Golden House." Nagato's complaints begin with the astronomical phenomena, and almost all the palace complaints will mention the astronomical phenomena at night, because every night is the most depressing time for women who are left in limbo. When I was favored, what I wanted most was to spend the night with the king and bathe in grace; After falling out of favor, the most difficult thing for them to send away is the endless night. When they are bored and lonely in an empty bed, they can only look up at the sky. Those stars and the moon will cause endless daydreams and worries. The echo of "the sky returns to the Big Dipper" is a verb, which means that the Big Dipper moves silently from east to west in the sky, and unconsciously hangs on the west building, which shows that it is already midnight, and it is obviously another sleepless night. The second sentence, from high to low, from far to near, the line of sight moved from the starry sky to the bedroom around us, "There is no firefly flow in the Golden House", and moved from the Big Dipper in the sky to the fireflies in Fei Huo in the courtyard. The scenery described in this sentence is also more nuanced. The allusion to "the golden house hides the charming". Emperor Wu liked princess royal's daughter Gillian very much when she was a child. He once said, "If you get Gillian (later Queen Chen), Gillian is a word. ) as a wife, save it as a golden house. " However, the golden house in the poem is not what it used to be, and people are empty. Not only is Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty no longer lucky, but the once hidden and extremely lucky Queen Chen has already left this "golden palace" that once brought her great happiness and sweetness and moved to the cold palace. Then, it is conceivable that those nights of excitement or unparalleled love have long since vanished. Now, only fireflies in autumn are left, flying around this once prosperous palace, leaving a faint fluorescence. The sky changes day and night, the underground is silent fireflies flying away, and summer is coming to autumn. This golden house, shrouded in dim starlight and dotted with faint fluorescence, contains objects and emotions. Can a word "worry" be inclusive?
The last two lines of the poem, "The moonlight wants to go to the long hall, so leave it alone for the time being", which not only points out the meaning of the topic, but also leads to melancholy by moonlight. Although the scenery in these two sentences is different from that in the previous two sentences, it is interesting to change it. The sky is changed from Beidou to moonlight, which is brighter and more eye-catching and gives people a stronger visual impact. The location was changed from the love nest "Golden House" to the cold palace "Nagato", and the emotional contrast became stronger and stronger, which made people feel so helpless. Moreover, the third sentence also uses an intentional verb "desire", so is the moonlight "here"? The same is true of "don't do" in the fourth sentence. It seems that moonlight has different effects in different places. Although the poem is very short, with only four sentences, due to the timely changes of living place and astronomical landscape, coupled with two carefully arranged words, three or four poems and the first two poems form an organic whole, which are interrelated and mutually restricted, with extremely rich and intriguing meanings. Of course, the moonlight can shine anywhere, so why does it seem to have scruples now and is unwilling to shine on Nagato Hall? Still can't bear to see it? Here, the author does not express sympathy for the heroine who has never appeared in the poem, that is, the former owner of "Golden House" and now "Nagato", but places his feelings on the ubiquitous moonlight, which can be said to be a frequent visitor in Li Bai's poems and is often given a special mission. For example, in the poem, "I heard that Wang Changling moved his dragon brand to the left and sent it from a distant place", and he asked Yue Ming to convey her full sympathy to her friends. Here, he once again wrote the moonlight very thoughtfully. He hesitated whether he could take pictures of the guild hall and its queen Chen. Probably because the moonlight has photographed Gillian's sweet time in the golden room many times and shared her happiness, so now he really can't bear to see her so indifferent and worried? Or are you afraid that Gillian will feel infinite regret when she sees the moonlight coming to Nagato in the long hall and fall into a more painful situation? In any case, Li Bai did not further develop clearly in his poems, or even hinted at it. In fact, this embarrassing and reluctant modality is most in line with the mentality of the neglected Queen Chen and all the women who have fallen out of favor in her palace. Of course, they are very reluctant to complain about this kind of court life, which used to be difficult for water, but who can tell this sorrow? Can you blame the fickleness of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty? Will you be jealous of Wei Zifu's love? Or can you blame yourself for any misconduct? In short, Nagato's resentment is as deep as the sea, and Nagato's resentment is really helpless! Therefore, even the moonlight in the sky can't help but feel infinite sympathy for Chen, the empresses who went through the "Golden Palace" to the "Cold Palace", but they are really helpless. In fact, no matter whether the moonlight shines on the temple or avoids it, it will not help to tell the fate of Queen Chen, and her melancholy is beyond anyone's comfort. Because in the history books, there is no trace of Queen Chen returning to Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty after falling out of favor. The beauty of Li Bai's first poem "Nagato Complaint" lies in that she is not allowed to come forward at all, but she can really feel the endless pain and helplessness of her life in the harem.
"The long sorrow in Guidian does not remember spring, and the golden wall shines with autumn dust." Hanging in the clear night sky, people in Nagato Palace were photographed alone. Guidian, namely Guigong, is the name of the palace when Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was in power, located in the north of Weiyang Palace. The last poem didn't say the word "sorrow" until the last sentence. The second poem put forward the word "sorrow" in the first sentence, and it was still "long sorrow". The heroine's unforgettable palace worry is not only caused by the bleak autumn wind, but always haunts her heart. In her mind, since she left the Kim family and actually fell out of favor, even in the sun and moon of the Kim family alone, that is, only the "autumn wind and frost arrow" is left. She has simply lived in sorrow for many years, so whenever she looks at it, there is only endless "autumn dust" in the room. I don't seem to have tasted the breath of spring since I fell out of favor. No matter how colorful the life in the world is, no matter how colorful the changes of the four seasons are, for her, everything is a pool of stagnant water and "autumn dust", whether it is spring flowers, summer rain, autumn leaves or winter snow, in her eyes, it has nothing to do with her personal fate. If a person loses interest in spring, he actually loses interest in life. Therefore, this "golden house" forgotten by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty has completely lost its vitality, warmth and joy. If you stay here any longer, you will even have a nervous breakdown. Only leave here, go to Nagato Palace alone, and silently endure the misfortune of life and the bitter fruit of falling out of favor.
