There are about thirty or forty rhetorical methods commonly used in poetry, such as comparison, analogy, parallelism, metonymy, exaggeration, contrast, imitation, exclusion, and repetition. For example, there are two sentences in Mao Zedong's poem "Seven Rhymes. The Long March" - "Five mountains are meandering with thin waves, and Wumeng is majestic with mud balls."
These two sentences are rhetorical parallels, and exaggeration is used in them, combining "five mountains winding" and "wumeng majestic"
