When Fushun is mentioned, we all think of coal. This city with the title of "Coal Capital" has made great contributions to the industrial development of New China. And "Fushun and coal" has also become the most complicated urban feelings of Fushun people. After more than 100 years of coal mining, many subsidence areas have been formed, and the accumulated water has gathered, and many places that were originally villages have gradually submerged in the water. Now, the "underwater village" we see should be the village in the subsidence area. Nowadays, many houses in this village have been completely submerged in the water, and many houses are in a semi-submerged state, some of which are high in terrain and exposed, forming the most authentic "underwater village" seen today.
Now Fushun city has built this memorial theme park by using the real sunken buildings and industrial remains in the site, which can be regarded as making full use of the existing basic conditions. In addition to these village buildings, there are squares, parking lots, pontoons, observation decks, wooden plank roads and gabion walls in the water. But what impressed me most was the submerged village buildings. Fushun coal mine has been mined for 100 years, which has won honor for the city and left scars. Fushun, which is prosperous because of coal, "coal mining in the city and urban construction beside the mine". Numerous Fushun people witnessed the glory of Fushun coal and left the deepest city memory. And this sunken village site should record the urban feelings of several generations of Fushun people. Is this real "water town" more attractive than those scenic "Jiangnan water towns"?
