My favorite writer-Yu Guangzhong

Fan Qi Qiweike

I met Yu Guangzhong in middle school. There is a poem in the textbook called Homesickness. I hadn't left home at that time, and I didn't know what homesickness was. When I grow up, I understand that "childhood/homesickness is a small stamp/I am here/my mother is there." Slowly, Yu Guangzhong left a deep impression in my mind.

Yu Guangzhong is my favorite writer. I have read his memory, which is as long as a railway track and a long road. Let's walk slowly. His poems need to be read quietly, read and think, which makes people memorable.

Yu Guangzhong, a Taiwan Province writer, was born in Yongchun, Fujian. 1952 graduated from the Foreign Languages Department of Taiwan Province Provincial University. 1959 Master of Arts, University of Iowa (LOWA). He has taught at Soochow University in Taiwan Province Province, Taiwan Province Normal University, Taiwan Province University and Taiwan Province Political University. During this period, he was invited by the State Council twice and served as a visiting professor in several American universities. 1972 professor and director, department of western languages, Taiwan Province political university. 1974 to 1985 Professor, Chinese Department, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. 1985 Up to now, he has worked as a professor and lecturer at Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan, including dean of the College of Literature and director of the Institute of Foreign Languages for six years. 20 17 12 14 died in kaohsiung.

Yu Guangzhong has been engaged in poetry, prose, criticism and translation all his life, calling himself a "four-dimensional space" for his writing. Today, he has been in the literary world for more than half a century, and he has been widely involved, and is known as "artistic polygamy". His literary career is long and profound, and he is a master of contemporary poetry, an important town of prose, a famous critic and an excellent translator. At present, 2 1 species of poems have been published; Prose collection 1 1 species; 5 kinds of comment sets; 13 translation; * * * More than 40 kinds. His masterpieces include White Jade and Bitter Melon, Memories as Long as Railways and On the Watershed: A Collection of Comments by Yu Guangzhong.

Yu Guangzhong is a complicated and changeable poet, and the changing track of his writing style can basically be said to be a trend of the whole poetry circle in China for more than 30 years, that is, westernization first and then regression.

He once said to himself: "The mainland (Chinese mainland) is the mother, Taiwan Province Province is the wife, Hong Kong is the lover, and Europe is an affair."

Yu Guangzhong's interesting story

(1) Teacher's "after-sales service"

When Yu Guangzhong was teaching at Sun Yat-sen University, she called female graduate students "village girls". After graduation, these female disciples met to celebrate his birthday. He said to the "village girls": "Don't think that teachers are useless after graduation. Write a letter of introduction, testify, name the baby, and there are many' after-sales services'! " Everyone laughed their heads off.

(2) Confrontation with Li Ao.

Yu Guangzhong's works are excellent, and his character is better. When the friendship between Li Ao and Yu Guangzhong broke down, he rebuked Yu Guangzhong: "Literature is higher than learning, learning is higher than poetry, and poetry is higher than quality. Cartilage scholars have ears, no wolf heart, and dog lungs. " However, Yu Guangzhong is not angry or anxious about this kind of abuse, nor does he go on the rampage or go to court. The practice of "a gentleman breaks up with no evil voice" is called the realm of masters.

I have a soft spot for Yu Guangzhong's poems and essays. Your Xi's Listening to the Cold Rain is a passage like this: With an umbrella, you can escape a misty cold rain, but you can't escape the whole rainy season. Even my thoughts are wet. This is how the rain in the south of the Yangtze River locks Qin Lou. No matter how moldy your heart is, it just keeps raining. Rain and fog converge into showers, and umbrellas can't cover the rain. I am a landscape in China's paintings.

My love for Yu Guangzhong's works has accumulated some of his books. To read his book, you need to calm down, take out a pen and paper and read it with a pure heart.

Besides reading his books, I also want to learn how to be a man.
