In the 19th year of Daoguang (1839), Gong Zizhen was 48 years old. He resigned from Beijing and returned to Hangzhou because he hated his official career. Later, he came back to see his family. On the way back and forth between north and south, he was full of thoughts, so he improvised one poem after another. * * There are 3 15 poems in total, which is a famous giant poem "Be Yourself".
