Visiting Princess Yongle's entry into Tibet with Li Shaofu in Luoyang
Sun Ti? [Tang Dynasty]
There are few orioles in the border areas, and they have not seen new ones in recent years.
The beauty falls from the sky, and the dragon plug begins to welcome the spring.
Translation and Notes
Translation
There are no flowers blooming in the frontier, no birds singing, and the New Year has passed but there is no spring scenery.
Princess Yongle married outside the Great Wall, just like a beauty falling from the sky, which should make this bitter cold land begin to have that beautiful spring.
