Modern Poetry: Moonlight Outside the Window

The puppy is asleep.

The cat went home.

The wind stopped.

The rain stopped.

Infant sleep

Mom no longer knits sweaters.

Say good night to the world.

I can't sleep alone.

outside the window

Very quiet

Inside the window

You can hear your own heartbeat.

Open the curtains by hand.

Oh, my God.

It turns out that there is a bright and gentle world outside the window.

The moonlight is soft.

The moonlight is cold.

Look at it quietly with your eyes wide open.

Dare not make a sound.

Afraid to surprise it

Look at it dancing on the roof. There are no dolls to play with.

Look at it wandering in front of the closed shop.

Watching it wander in the middle of the street where no one talks or laughs.

Look at it standing alone outside the window.

This is my stop?

Well, since I can't sleep,

Since you can't sleep either.

Then let's keep company in the dark.

I'll grind you into words and write them out.

I'll brew you into red wine and drink it.

What can you do to me?

Ha, do whatever you like!

Moonlight outside the window

Why do you think I think you are lonely?

Moonlight outside the window

Why do you think I think you are lonely?

Moonlight outside the window

Why do you think I have insomnia?

The moonlight outside the window jumped into my bed and whispered to me: Because it's the Spring Festival.

I am lighting the way home for the people who go home.

You're watching the door for people who go home.
