Tao Yuanming's ancient poems include: "Drinking·Part 7" and "Returning to the Garden and Living in the Fields (Part 1)".

1. "Drinking·Part 7" Tao Yuanming of the Wei and Jin Dynasties:

Autumn chrysanthemums have a beautiful color, and the dew on their clothes reveals their beauty.

I forget my worries and my worldly feelings are far away from me.

Although the cup is empty, the cup will overturn when the cup is empty.

The sun is moving among the flocks, and the returning birds are singing in the forest.

Xiao Ao Dongxuan, chatting about regaining this life.

Translation:

Autumn chrysanthemums are in full bloom and bright, moist and moist with dew. The taste of chrysanthemum bubble wine is more beautiful, and the feeling of avoiding vulgarity is deeper. With one swipe, he drained the wine in the glass, then held the wine flask and poured it into the glass. At sunset, all living things come to rest, and returning birds sing happily to the forest. Sing to your heart's content under the east window, and spend this life happily for the time being.

2. Returning to the Garden and Living in the Fields (Part 1) Tao Yuanming of the Wei and Jin Dynasties:

There is no suitable folk charm, and one’s nature is to love hills and mountains.

I accidentally fell into the dust net and passed away for thirty years.

The tame birds miss the old forest, and the fish in the pond miss their old abyss.

Open up the wilderness in the south, stay humble and return to the garden.

The square house covers more than ten acres and has eight or nine thatched houses.

The elms and willows shade the back eaves, and the peach and plum trees in front of the hall.

The distant village is warm and the smoke is lingering in the ruins.

Dogs bark in the deep alleys, and roosters crow at the top of the mulberry trees.

The courtyard is clean of dust and clutter, and the empty room has plenty of leisure.

After being in a cage for a long time, you can return to nature.

Translation:

I have not followed vulgar trends since I was young. My nature is to love nature. I accidentally fell into the trap of official career, and in the blink of an eye I had been away from my hometown for more than ten years. The bird in the cage often longs for the mountains and forests of the past, and the fish in the pond yearns for the abyss of the past. I would like to open up wasteland in the southern wilderness and maintain my simplicity and return to farming. There are more than ten acres of land around the house, and there are eight or nine thatched cottages.

Elm and willow trees cover the back eaves of the house, and peaches and plums vying for spring line up in front of the yard. Neighboring villages can be vaguely seen in the distance, and smoke is floating in the village. A few dogs barked in the deep alley, and a rooster crowed from the top of the mulberry tree. There is no dust and interference in the courtyard, and the quiet room is full of comfort and leisure. After being trapped in a cage for a long time without any freedom, I finally returned to Linshan today.

Returning to the Garden and Living in the Fields (Part 1) Appreciation:

The most outstanding thing about this poem is the description of the scenery - the description of the garden scenery uses the line drawing technique to intersect the distant and near scenes, which is vivid and vivid; secondly, in the poem, Dual sentences are used in many places, such as: "The elm and willow shade is behind the eaves, and the peach and plum trees are in front of the hall." There is also the use of contrasting techniques, comparing "Dust Net" and "Fan Cage" with "Garden and Field Residence" to highlight the poet's dislike of officialdom. The love for nature; and the language is clear and fresh, almost like vernacular, simple and unpretentious.

This poem presents a complete artistic conception. The language of the poem completely serves to present this artistic conception, without seeking superficial beauty, so the poem appears natural. In short, this is the nature achieved through artistic pursuit and artistic efforts.
