Du Fu's Long Poems

Du Fu's long poems are as follows:

In August and autumn, the wind roared and rolled up my three hairs. Hair flew over the river and sprinkled on the periphery of the river. The highest one hangs a long forest tip, and the lower one floats to Shentang 'ao. The children in Nancun bully me. I can stand being a thief. I openly carried Mao into the bamboo forest, and my lips were so dry that I couldn't breathe. When I came back, I sighed on crutches.

In an instant, the wind will set the color of the clouds and ink, and the autumn will be bleak and dark. This cloth has been as cold as iron for many years, and Joule has been lying down and cracking. There is no dry place in the bedside table, and the feet are numb with rain. How can you get wet all night since you are in a mess and don't get enough sleep! There are tens of millions of buildings in Ande, which makes all the poor people in the world very happy! The wind and rain are calm as a mountain. Oh! Suddenly I saw the house in front of me, and it was enough for me to freeze to death alone.

Creative background:

This poem was written by Du Fu at the beginning of Chang 'an in the fifth year of Tianbao. Historically, Li Bai, He, Li, Cui Zongzhi, Zhang Xu and Jiao Sui were all good drinkers, and they were called "Eight Immortals in Wine". They all live in Chang 'an, and they are very similar in drinking, generous and open-minded. This poem written by Du Fu is the portrait of these eight people.

It is a unique and distinctive "portrait poem". Eight Brewmaster were contemporaries and all lived in Chang 'an. They are very similar in drinking, both generous and open-minded. The poet wrote them into a poem with refined language and characters' brushstrokes, forming a vivid group image.

In the late Tianbao period, the wars of the Tang Dynasty against ethnic minorities in the northwest and southwest became more and more frequent. This continuous large-scale war has not only brought heavy disasters to the border ethnic minorities, but also brought the same misfortune to the people of the Central Plains.

This is a political satire against Tang Xuanzong's belligerence. The whole poem tells the people's hatred of war and the pain caused by her husband's answer to the old man. This is one of the famous poems in which the poet deeply understands the sufferings of the people and expresses deep sympathy.

This is a seven-character song line, and the "realistic" approach of folk songs is used in many places in the poem. Read as many as pearls, and the tone is harmonious and pleasant. At the same time, the clever use of dialogue gives readers a real sense of presence.

Style introduction:

The artistic conception is humorous, the colors are bright and beautiful, and the melody is light. From the phonological point of view, it is a rigorous and complete, rhyme to the end, in one go. Structurally, each role has its own chapter, and the eight roles have distinct priorities. The personality characteristics of each character set off each other like a group sculpture, which is really unique in art.
