I have been away from Harbin for many years, but I miss her all the time. As soon as I closed my eyes, the charming scenery of Harbin was reflected on my memory screen, and my heart immediately put on wings and flew to that charming place. She is the city in my heart.
I first came to Harbin in the summer of 1956. As an engineering junior, I came to a factory here for production practice. As soon as I arrived in Harbin, I was overwhelmed by this famous city known as "Oriental Moscow". Songhua River, Sun Island with primitive game, magnificent Nikolai Church (commonly known as Lamatai) and exotic central street are all beautiful. At that time, several classmates and I all fell in love with Harbin at first sight.
Whenever the sun goes down, we will go swimming hand in hand. Start from the big iron bridge across the Songhua River, climb the river bank, and then stroll through Stalin Park on the river bank. The afterglow of the setting sun shines on the mirror-like river, and the golden wings and scaly ripples shine; Poplars and weeping willows on the shore, in the slow evening breeze, collide with branches and leaves and whisper softly, like lovers talking seriously. Among the tourists, I occasionally see three or two young Russian men and women with blond hair walking side by side, adding a little exotic flavor. We had enough sitting on the green bench, so we walked down the stone steps to the noisy river, sat on the floor, took off our shoes and socks, soaked our feet in cold water, gently fiddled with the splash and smiled like children. It was not until late at night that we reluctantly left the river and returned to the station. On the way, when we passed the central street, we stepped on the bluestone road and looked at the buildings with different styles under the cover of night, and our hearts could not help but overflow with beautiful ripples. Like moonlight, like water, through the dense trees, mottled flower shadows are screened out and gently caressed our youthful bodies, and our hearts are full of sweetness and warmth. Occasionally, the elegance of Russian classical music faintly came from the window of a building, and the lingering sound curled up, causing the soul to tremble. Finally, we came to Lamatai, which stands in the square at the crossroads with its unique charm. Its unique architectural form is rare in my life. The crimson spire and patchwork structure present a hazy and mysterious brilliance in the night, which is pleasing to the eye and never tires of seeing it. Faced with this situation, we can't help but meet excitedly: after graduation, we must ask to be assigned to work in Harbin to contribute our youth and wisdom to the beautiful ice city.
However, life is often difficult to arrange according to people's good wishes. Due to the dramatic changes in the political situation, my boat of destiny is bumping in the stormy waves. The next year, after a storm, it was washed to the distant frontier, a little-known Daur hometown-Fulaerji, and my midsummer dream in Harbin was shattered.
However, because Fulaerji is not too far away from Harbin, I often go to Harbin for business because of the need of technical work-because Harbin is the hometown of electric power, and I have close technical cooperation with Fulaerji Heavy Machinery Factory where I work. The famous "three driving forces" (Harbin Electric Machine Factory, Harbin Boiler Factory and Harbin Steam Turbine Factory) have gathered a large number of outstanding technical talents at home and abroad to produce cutting-edge products that are most needed for national construction. The exquisite technology and impressive scientific research results here have a strong appeal to us people; The scientific and technical personnel here are all our ideal partners. So whenever there is an opportunity and work needs, my colleagues and I will come here in time, or learn advanced skills or discuss technical problems, and stay for many days at a time. In addition to listening to the moving sound of steel in the "land of power", we once again enjoyed the beautiful scenery of this famous city. Her beautiful scenery not only drove away the fatigue of our work, but also brought infinite comfort to our body and mind, and then returned to Fulaerji's job in the wilderness with satisfaction. However, in my heart, I always have a deep attachment to Harbin.
Time flies, and it soon came to the early 1960s. At that time, I often felt this way after I was busy with my work, so I wrote some literary works and published them. At that time, it was considered a small achievement and a small name in the local area. Therefore, it has attracted the attention of relevant cultural and artistic departments. 1April 1964, I was transferred to Harbin by the Provincial Writers Association to attend a literary creation class and lived in the then Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
In the process of learning, we often go together in groups of three or five. After visiting all the places of interest in the city, we unanimously asked the leaders to visit Sun Island. Because this is also the place that everyone yearns for. Some people even say that it is a waste of time to come to Harbin without going to Sun Island.
So, on an early summer morning, we set off. With "Da Lieba" bought by Lin Qiu Company in advance, sausages and beer produced in Harbin, and a large piece of specially made linoleum paper, we happily headed for Sun Island with the unique laughter of young people.
At that time, you could only cross the river by ferry. The surging Songhua River is sparkling under the rising sun; Standing on the deck of the ship, we can see a forest in Jiangwan in the distance. It is lush, deep and dense, giving people a fantastic mystery. After abandoning the ship and landing, I saw that there were few people and the houses were simple and sparse; There is only a narrow path that extends all the way to the forest. We lined up and walked along the path into the depths of the forest.
This is a quiet world. The towering trees stand upright on the dark ground, and the dense branches and leaves cover the bright sunshine, occasionally screening out mottled flower shadows from the leaves. It was very quiet around, except for a few birds chirping on the branches, and there was almost no sound.
We suddenly got lost in this quiet and beautiful environment. Then he spread linoleum paper on the ground and sat down, and began a romantic outdoor life. Everyone is in groups of three or five, or singing or humming new songs, or chatting about recent anecdotes or telling the past of the ice city; Wild and unrestrained, into the embrace of nature. Unconsciously, at noon, everyone took out the prepared beer, sausages and "big bars" from their backpacks and drank them heartily against the warm wild wind. People push cups for a change, guess fists, laugh and have fun. That wonderful feeling is better than enjoying the best banquet in Mattel's restaurant.
The happy time passed quickly. After everyone had enough to eat and drink, the sun had already set. We just "clean up the mess" and then dress up and go home. After coming back, everyone smiled at each other, and the joy from the heart was all in silence.
Since then, Sun Island has left a deep impression on my mind, so I am more attached to Harbin and more envious of Harbin people.
Twenty years have passed in a blink of an eye, but life has made unexpected arrangements. In the early 1980s, I was transferred to Heilongjiang Writers Association. He was a professional writer at first, and was later elected as the head of the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Provincial Writers Association. So I became a veritable Harbin native and lived in the beautiful courtyard of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
In those unforgettable years, how many intimate friends' voices and smiles are engraved in my mind, including workers' masters who work day and night in the front line of production, coquettish and all-round entrepreneurs, ingenious party and government executives, knowledgeable and charming scholars, experts and professors who climb scientific peaks, and in my contact with them, I can not only hear the latest social information, but also discuss various academic issues; We once wrote to the provincial party Committee to build a literary power in northern Xinjiang; We also made suggestions at the party congress to develop the tertiary industry in Longjiang; We sing praises for powerful leaders, and we are also saddened by the repeated prohibition of some corruption. All this not only greatly enriched my life, but also created a good atmosphere for my work. This is why I can seriously do some work that is beneficial to the prosperity of Heilongjiang literature and write some works with the flavor of the times in an environment where interpersonal relationships are very complicated and often accompanied by shadows and undercurrents.
Although I left Harbin afterwards, my attachment to her has been very strong. Not long ago, at the invitation of my friends in Harbin, I came to participate in the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, revisiting my old place, and I felt excited waves in my heart. After getting off the train, although it was over 30 degrees below zero, I felt warm all over. Because the old friends and new friends who greeted us at the station immediately gave us spring-like warmth, I couldn't help but cry when facing the brand-new ice city.
Ah, Harbin, my second hometown, your wanderer has come back to you.
However, the scene in front of us has changed greatly, and Harbin has become more beautiful and magnificent. The magnificent square in front of the station, the wide and slender roads, the magnificent overpasses, the rows of high-rise buildings, the brand-new central street, the Sun Island returning to nature, the bustling crowds everywhere, and the boys and girls who are always dressed in fashion ... all show that this ancient city is full of youth. My old friend proudly told me that great changes have taken place in Harbin from the outside to the inside in recent years. She stands on the land of Northeast Asia with the majestic posture of an international metropolis.
I came to the long-lost world of ice and snow again. This is the unique scenery of Harbin, and I am so infatuated with her! Nature gave the northerners ice and snow, and the ice and snow raised Harbin children. Smart Harbin people have dedicated themselves to the ice and snow, endowed it with life, and created the world-famous ice lantern and snow sculpture art.
Ah, Harbin, the city in my heart, you are my eternal memory …
