Appreciation of Canchun Hostel’s works

This poem was written by the poet when he was living in Fujian. The Tang Dynasty was already dead at that time, and it was intended to express his nostalgia for the Tang Dynasty. At the beginning of the pen, there is a scene of spring dying and red flying, and the night rain just clearing up. In addition, the poet is a guest in a foreign country and is mentioned in the hotel, which reminds the poet of Chang'an, the imperial capital that has been away for a long time. The mention of Chang'an naturally reminds the poet of his pride when he was trusted by Zhaozong and became a Hanlin scholar. He also naturally thinks of being squeezed out by Zhu Quanzhong and leaving him in a foreign land. All these unspeakable flavors suddenly came to my mind. The three words "Recalling Xianjing" have become the hinge of the whole article, leading to the following three couplets.

The chin couplet inherits the three words "Recalling Xianjing", and first expresses the memory of the beautiful spring days of the imperial capital: "The bees on the tree head hugged the flowers and fell, and the fish on the pond blew catkins." Looking up at the green, dark and red scenery On the treetops, bees are flying down with the flowers holding their whiskers; looking down at the pond where the catkins are falling, the fish are swimming as if they are playing with the catkins. Flying flowers and falling catkins are originally the scenery of the dying spring, but the bees and fishes add endless interest and a bit of vitality, so there is no loneliness that hurts the spring, let alone the declining poetic style of the late Tang Dynasty. Because the poet is recalling the scenery of this imperial capital with the deep affection that once bathed in the emperor's grace. Because of this, in the poet's writing, even in the falling autumn, the morning and dusk and the vegetation in Chang'an always have a bit of warmth and fragrance.

The five or six lines of "Zen subdued the demon of poetry and returned to the pure land, and the wine and sorrow brought out strange soldiers" specifically describe the loneliness of the poet in the guest house. The poet has infinite sorrow, endless resentment, and boredom in his heart, so he has no choice but to use poetry to express his state of mind and his grief and indignation. However, after many thoughts, it was never written. The poet had no choice but to explain himself by saying "Zen conquers the poetry demon and returns to the pure realm", which exactly reflects the poet's state of mind that "continuous cutting leads to chaos". With such a state of mind, he will not be able to write poetry. Before the poem was written, the sadness, melancholy and anger accumulated deeper and deeper, just like a heavy array of sorrow, lying across my chest. I had no choice but to use wine to wash away the heavy sorrow. However, "drowsing sorrow with wine will make it worse." Wine can only make people temporarily intoxicated. After waking up, they will be even more sad. This greater sadness gave the poet confidence and hope: "The two beams are protected from dust, and the meal is wiped until the eyes are clear." At this time, the poet clearly realized that neither poetry nor wine could relieve the boredom in his heart. So he luckily picked up the official hat he used to wear when he was in court, and realized a truth. He should preserve this precious court hat well and never let it be contaminated by dust. The implication is that he will never be a minister with a different surname. He would rather live in poverty for the rest of his life than change his integrity. Thinking of this, he was no longer worried, he was no longer sad. He gently wiped the court substitute, and secretly said in his heart: He must wait patiently until the Tang Dynasty is revived, put on the court hat and dress to participate in the government affairs. . Wen Yiduo said: The author "well knew that the Tang Dynasty could not avoid the fate of destruction, but he could not do anything, so the poems he wrote mostly recalled the past and had a sad mood." This poem does not directly express sad thoughts, but he deeply cares about the past. Warmth has actually become a foil to today's sadness.

The whole poem has ups and downs of emotions, from sadness to calmness, from which we can see the poet's integrity. The whole poem begins with "Hostel" and "Can Chun", the third and fourth sentences carry on "Can Chun", the fifth and sixth sentences carry on "Hostel", and the seventh and eighth sentences conclude to reflect the whole poem. The structure is rigorous and the context is clear. "Tiaoxi Yuyincong Hua": Since I have been familiar with "Poems of Hundreds of Tang Dynasties" selected by Jinggong over and over again, there is no boldness in it, but the merit of repair; the high is not as good as the low, the low is more than enough, it is just moderate. Duke Jing said: If you want to understand the poetry of the Tang Dynasty, this is enough. Isn’t that the case? The collection of good sentences that have been praised will not be recorded again: only the remaining favorites will be written down by the next generation to prevent them from being forgotten. Seven words and six couplets: Han Xie's "Remnant Spring" says: "The bees on the trees held the flowers and fell, and the fish blew the catkins on the pond." It also said: "The thin water flows and the flowers return to other streams, and the broken clouds carry rain into the isolated village." Another "Visiting the Village Residence of the King in the Same Year" says: "There are wild herons in the wild water in the gate, and the neighbors smash the broken wall and squawk at the chickens." Crown also.

"Si Ming Poetry Talk": Cui Shi's "Inscription on the Mountain and Pond of the Tang Dynasty Duwei": "The geese turn over the cattail leaves, and the fish swim around in the cattail flowers." Although the couplet is beautiful, it has become more delicate in the late Tang Dynasty; Comparing it with the accompanying works, for example, the beautiful concubines are promoted to the rank of their appointed wives, and their appearance is different. Han Xie's "Late Spring Hostel": "The bees on the tree head hugged the flowers and fell, and the fish on the pond blew catkins." The ancestor performed seven words in Shi, and it went down again.

"Collection of Poems of the Five Dynasties": People in the late Tang Dynasty were the best at writing new sentences. The sentences "bee hugging" and "fish blowing" are extremely crafted and natural, and cannot be achieved by those who deliberately novelize them.

"Evaluation of Tang Poetry and Advocacy of Dongyan Thatched Cottage": Zhu Dongyan said: In the late spring and the new dawn, when I think of Beijing, this hotel has the same feelings. Three or four people just wrote "Chunchun", but they didn't know that "the bees hugged the flowers and fell" meant not forgetting the emperor's intention, and "the fish blew the catkins and walked" meant the sorrow of the world and the chaos... These two sentences are exactly written to remember Xian Kyoya. Five "Zen subdues the devil with poetry" and six "Wine washes away the sorrow array" are all compared to the body. Today, the soldiers must use their lives to correct evil and return to the right path.

"Net Master's Garden Tang Poetry Notes": clever but not elegance (the next couplet of "Tree-headed Bee Hug"). It's also strange to think about it (below the sentence "Wine washes away sorrow").

"Commentary on Ying Kui Lü Sui": Ji Yun: "No sentence, no work", easier said than done! Li and Du couldn't, what about Yao Zhi? Another saying: "Trance mind" is not a good word. Wuliu has teased Song Ge. In the Tang Dynasty, Jiangdong was the crown prince.
