Li Bai 1. Li Bai's mood after taking off his boots.
Unofficial history said that when Li Bai wrote Qing Ping Le, Yang Guifei was grinding ink and Gao Lishi was holding his boots.
At the previous banquet, Meng Guifei also fed him soup with her own spoon. Later, everyone said that "educated people can't do anything" and found an allusion from then on.
The story of Gao Lishi taking off his boots for Li Bai from Youyang Miscellanies is actually a novelist's story made up by literati. The predecessors have long questioned this.
As early as the Tang Dynasty, Li Zhao's Supplement to National History recorded: "Li Bai was in Hanlin and drank a lot. Xuanzong ordered people to have fun and talk, so drunk that he couldn't wait. He was moved by the water and became more active. With a stroke of his pen, he wrote more than a dozen chapters without adding the text.
After facing the imperial court, he told Gao Lishi to take off his boots and ordered Xiao Yan to expel him. "Li Bai is often drunk in Hanlin.
One day, Xuanzong asked Li Bai to write an article about Le Yan. Li Bai was drunk and wrote a dozen chapters with a stroke of a pen.
Xuanzong was very happy and continued to invite Li Bai to drink. Li Bai put his foot in front of Gao Lishi and asked him to take off his boots, but the emperor ordered the eunuch to "expel him", and this did not happen. This is also found in New Tang Shu and Old Tang Shu. Wen Yuan Xia, a Book of the Old Tang Dynasty, specifically recorded the fact that Li Bai was scolded.
In other words, Gao Lishi didn't take off his boots for Li Bai.
2. There are two allusions about Li Bai, Guifei Xuemo and Gao Lishi taking off his boots, which need not be introduced by many people.
Gao Lishi (684-762) was born in Panzhou (now Gaozhou City, Guangdong Province) in the Tang Dynasty, the great-grandson of Feng Ang, the grandson of Feng Zhixie and the son of Feng Junheng. 10-year-old, who was robbed for implicating others. At the beginning of the holy calendar of Wu Zetian (698), Lingnan recruited Li into the second eunuch.
In 708, Li Longji, the king of Linzi, was accepted as a confidant in Jinglong. In the fourth year of Jian 'an, a palace coup took place, killing Princess Anle and Wu's henchmen. Tang Ruizong was reset and Li Longji was the Crown Prince. Lux participated in the planning and was promoted to doctor and servant. In the first year of his life (7 12), Lux assisted Xuanzong to launch a palace coup again to quell the chaos and moved to Dr. Yin Yinqing Guanglu as an official in the industry.
At the beginning of kaiyuan (7 14), the right guard general was appointed, knowing that in-house attendants would save trouble, and Xuanzong favored eunuchs, especially Lux. Since then, Lux has been in power in the ruling and opposition circles, and all the songs played in various places have to be presented to Lux before they can be presented to the emperor, and small things have to be decided by themselves.
Ministers inside and outside the imperial court also courted Lux in succession. There are even Li, Yang, An Lushan, Gao Xianzhi, Yuwen Rong, Gai Jiayun, Yang Shenxi, Wang Xun and An. Those who become famous for a while can curry favor with Lux and occupy high positions. At the beginning of Tianbao (742), Jiafeng Lux was the champion general, the right guard general and the Duke of Bohai.
In seven years, General Lux was appointed as the general of a title of generals in ancient times, and his wealth was unmatched by princes. In the 14th year of Tianbao (755), An Lushan and Shi Siming launched an Anshi Rebellion, trapped in the two cities of Beijing, and forced their soldiers to follow Xuanzong into Shu and go to Majipo. The soldiers mutinied, killed Yang and threatened Xuanzong to kill Yang Guifei. Xuanzong hesitated, but Lux urged him to kill him.
After Lux arrived in Chengdu, he was named Qi Huangong because of his outstanding military exploits. In the fifteenth year of Tianbao (756), Su Zong proclaimed himself emperor and changed to the first year of Germany.
Later, Lux returned to Beijing with Xuanzong, added three Fu Yi books and rewarded 500 households. In the first year of Shangyuan (760), Lux was falsely demoted to Wuzhou.
In the first year of Baoying (762), Tang Daizong ascended the throne, and Lux was pardoned and returned to Beijing and Langzhou. Knowing the death of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, Lux vomited blood in grief. Dai zong restored his original official position, gave Yangzhou the governor, and was buried with Tang Xuanzong's Tailing Mausoleum.
Li Bai teased Gao Lishi. Although Li Bai was favored by Xuanzong, he was afraid of being hurt by Li. He is just making a fuss and is afraid to get involved in politics. Li Fulin has a successful career through his relationship with Gao Lishi, so Li Bai doesn't like Gao Lishi either.
One day, the envoy of Bohai presented a book, the words were not cursive, the officials were not printed, and the traces were so strange that the Manchu minister could not recognize it. Xuanzong said angrily: "There are so many officials in the sky, how come you can't read a word in a book! I don't know what words are in the book, how to answer them? Don't be laughed at by a small state! " Everyone is ashamed and in a dilemma. Xuanzong thought of Li Bai and called him into the palace, but Li Bai knew prose by heart.
Xuanzong was delighted and ordered Li Bai to write a letter in Chinese characters. Li Bai wanted to take this opportunity to mock Gao Lishi and begged Gao Lishi to take off his boots for him.
Xuanzong laughed and was introduced to Gao Lishi. Gao Lishi has always been the closest person to Xuanzong. He is the champion general, the right guard general, and the Bohai county magistrate. He is so powerful that he doesn't want to suffer such embarrassment. Because Xuanzong had a purpose, it was inconvenient to disobey, so he had to submit to humiliation and follow the purpose.
Li Bai was so happy that he took the book and sent it back to the ambassador. Gao Lishi has been bitter about this matter, but Li Baizheng was favored by Xuanzong, so he could not directly kill Li Bai in front of Xuanzong and then turn to the imperial concubine for help.
One day, Gao Lishi talked with the imperial concubine about poetry and advised her to abolish the qingping tune. The imperial concubine said, "Taibai is brilliant, and there is no second in the world." How can I get rid of his poems? " Gao Lishi sneered, "He compared Yan Fei to a queen. Think about what Yan Fei did that day. I dare to make an analogy. What do you mean? " The imperial concubine immediately changed color.
It turns out that women in the Tang Dynasty took fullness as beauty, and imperial concubine was no exception. Women in the Han Dynasty began to regard thinness as beauty. Emperor Han Cheng was afraid that the strong wind would blow Zhao Yanfei away, and he also built a Qibao shed for her. Xuanzong tasted the play and said, "It seems that you are not afraid of the wind, so you can play as you like."
The imperial concubine knew that Xuanzong intended to sneer, so she would mind. A woman is narrow-minded, and a noble princess annoys Gao Lishi. She thinks that Li Bai's poems are mocking her fat figure, so she can't help being jealous of Li Bai.
Since then, the imperial concubine has served Xuanzong, saying many times that Li Bai indulged in drinking and singing wildly, which was impolite. Although Xuanzong loved Li Bai very much, Nai was rejected by the imperial concubine and had to alienate him and stop calling.
Li revenged for Gao Lishi and lost confidence in the court controlled by Li. After three years of treasure hunting, Li Bai begged to return to his hometown. Xuanzong returned the gold and Li Bai wandered around again.
Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty was a eunuch in power. A native of Panzhou (now Gaozhou, Guangdong), his real name is Feng.
The boy was castrated and entered the palace in the first year of the holy calendar (698). Wu Zetian, with her cleverness, makes decisions about things.
Once demoted, eunuch Gao Fu was adopted as an adopted son, so he took Gao's surname. Gao Fu married Wu Sansi, and Lux returned to the palace to be an official here.
When Li Longji was a vassal, Lux fell in love with him and contributed to the palace coup. After Longji ascended the throne (that is, Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty), Lux won the trust, appointed him as the general of the imperial guard, knowing that it would be easier for him to serve in the palace, and made him the rank of ancient general and the title of Duke of Bohai.
Luxe often stays in the Forbidden City, and the quartet must look at it first, and decide the small things by itself. Xuanzong said, "Lux is on duty, and I am sleeping." .
Ministers at home and abroad, such as Li, Yang, An Lushan and Gao Xianzhi. The prince (later Su Zong) called him the second brother, while the kings and princesses called him Weng and Ye.
His assets are richer than those of princes. He once built a Buddhist temple to cast bells and entertain officials and ministers. It is stipulated that 100000 should be given as a gift once, and those who flatter him should hit 20 pestles, at least10 pestles.
Lux has always been cautious and good at observing the current situation, so he has been favored for a long time and has no great reputation inside and outside the court. However, it had a great influence on Xuanzong's employment administration in his later years and was responsible for Tianbao's political corruption.
During the Anshi Rebellion, he went to Xichuan with Xuanzong, and returned after Xijing Changan recovered. In the first year of Shang and Yuan Dynasties (760), Su Zong was banished to Wuzhou (now southwest of Qianyang, Hunan Province) for protecting Xuanzong, the eunuch in power.
Baoying was pardoned in the first year (762) and died in Langzhou (now Changde, Hunan). In the long history of China, eunuchs have a very strange position, because they lack the part that men care most about physically, so although they are in the center of power and wealth in a big country, they are often in character and psychology.
3. The story of Gao Lishi taking off his boots
In the early days of Tianbao, Li Bai came to Chang 'an and was recommended to Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty summoned him in the Golden Palace, made him an academician, and asked him to compose poems and music in the palace.
One day in the Heavenly Palace, peonies were in full bloom, and Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty took Yang Guifei to drink and enjoy flowers in Chenxiang Temple. Tang Xuanzong suddenly remembered Li Bai and wanted him to write some lyrics to entertain him, so he sent someone to call him. At this time, Li Bai was drunk in the hotel. People put him on horseback, sent him to the palace and washed his head with cold water. After being slightly drunk, Li Bai picked up a pen and wrote three poems praising Yang Guifei and Peony at once. These poems are beautiful and fresh, and Tang Xuanzong and Yang Guifei are very happy.
Although Li Bai often attends court banquets, he despises dignitaries and doesn't care about the emperor and those dignitaries around him.
Once, he was drunk in the palace and put out his foot and said to Gao Lishi, the eunuch sitting next to him, "Take off your boots for me."
Gao Lishi was at a loss and had to take off his boots for Li Bai. At that time, Gao Lishi had great power, and everything that was hit by the four directions had to pass through his hand. There is not a civil and military official who does not curry favor with him. He had never been insulted like this, which made him very angry and decided to look for opportunities to get back at Li Bai.
Yang Guifei loves to recite Li Bai's "Qing Ping Le Ci", and Gao Lishi happened to be there. He deliberately said: "I thought that the imperial concubine was insulted by Li Bai and must hate it." I didn't expect you to love his poems so much! " Yang Guifei asked in surprise, "How can Li insult me?"
Gao Lishi said, "Isn't there a saying in the poem,' Ask who the Han Palace looks like and pity the swallows for their new makeup'?" Yang Guifei said, "Yes!" Gao Lishi also said: "Zhao was born as a singer in the court of the Han Dynasty. Later, although she was established as the queen, her style was incorrect and she was eventually demoted to Shu Ren. Didn't he compare Zhao with you for nothing? "
Yang Guifei was very angry with Li Bai at Gao Lishi's words. Later, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty tried to appoint Li Bai several times, but Yang Guifei stopped him.
4. In "Li Bai Drunk", it was written that "the products in the temple were drunk and led Gao Lishi to take off his boots, so he was dismissed".
I think it is Li Bai's strong self-esteem and vanity, his arrogance and lack of ethics.
We can imagine, if it weren't for Li Bai, what would you think of another person who was drunk in front of the emperor? I have no manners. If it weren't for Tang Xuanzong's love of talents, Zhu Yuanzhang paid special attention to summing up. These ten Li Bai were not enough to die, but they would also bring trouble to the family.
Secondly, Li Bai is talented, but he has no talent, so he feels that he has learned written martial arts, but he can't sell it to emperors, and he is indignant that those talents are far less than his own dignitaries. It is understandable that a scholar has such a bad temper. Then, out of this distorted psychology, I want Gao Lishi, the eunuch that the emperor trusted most at that time, and a big partner who played with the emperor since childhood, to take off his shoes. Who will take it off for him? Gao Lishi is going to take it off. Isn't that because of his vanity? You can brag to others in the future. What is Gao Lishi? Don't look at so many people bowing to him. Doesn't he have to take off his shoes for Li Bai?
5. About Lux taking off his boots, the imperial concubine learned ink.
Gao Lishi takes off his boots and Yang Guifei grinds the following excerpt from a madman at the beginning of Baidu. He sang a crazy song "Arguing Confucius". "This is the arrogant metaphor of Li Bai who has been an academician in Chang 'an for three years. Once accompanied the royal family for an outing, mountains and rivers, Yaotai, Lantian and Baiyun were so poetic that he wrote, "The clouds miss clothes and flowers, and the spring breeze blows the bar fragrant." Jade hill is missing, see you at Yaotai under the moon. "Yang Guifei likes this poem very much and recites it repeatedly. The emperor saw that the imperial concubine was happy to pour wine for Li Bai, who was a heavy drinker. He bought Bai Yunbian wine on credit in Dongting. He enjoys the moon in Dongting Lake. ) beautiful scenery, wine, beautiful women and artists made him dizzy in the rain. The imperial concubine held the inkstone and invited Li Bai to compose another song. Gao Lishi also laughed and joked: "Look for wolf hair on the sheep and let him think." Li Bai replied, "If you take off your shoes, I will write. ".Gao Lishi is not a good angle. He turned his head, bent down and took off Li Bai's shoes. Li Bai wrote an urgent book, "Famous flowers pour out the country, appreciate each other and look at you with a smile. "The spring breeze is infinitely hateful, and the agarwood pavilion leans on it." He leaned barefoot on the railing beside the agarwood pavilion and smiled and said to Gao Lishi, "I'll sing another song when you take off your shoes." Gao Lishi refused. Yang Guifei said, "I still have the inkstone. Take off your shoes. Didn't he wear shoes? " Gao Lishi helpless, shan shan took off his shoes. Li Bai waved his hand again. "A stick of red incense, misty and rainy in Yunshan, heartbroken. Who does Han Palace look like? Poor Yan Fei leans on her new dress. "
"The poor swallow leans on her new dress" became the handle of Gao Lishi's corruption of Li Bai. Soon, Li Bai went out of the palace and his career dried up.
