Kneeling: essay on Universiade!

20 1 1 On August 8, 2008, the 26th Universiade, which Shenzhen people had been waiting for for for a long time, finally arrived. The streets and alleys of Shenzhen are decorated with lanterns and colorful decorations, and there is a happy atmosphere everywhere. All Shenzhen people are happy, even the trees on both sides of the road are bent with laughter, as if warmly welcoming friends from all over the world.

Early in the morning, I came to the main stadium of the Universiade Center, where the opening ceremony of the Universiade will be held. I am now a senior one student in Shenzhen Senior High School. I'm not here to see the Universiade, but to volunteer for the Universiade and contribute to Shenzhen.

At 8 pm, the opening ceremony of the Universiade officially began. The stadium that can accommodate 60,000 spectators is packed. Nearly 10,000 athletes from 100 countries and regions entered the stadium under the leadership of the etiquette team leader. The program of the opening ceremony embodies the theme of "Youth, Friendship and Peace" of the Universiade. The artistic performance is atmospheric and has strong characteristics of the times. The process of torch lighting is full of imagination and creativity.

Happy times always pass quickly. Universiade is coming to an end. It is difficult to be a Universiade volunteer, but I feel very happy and proud. Being able to host the Universiade in Shenzhen not only promoted the construction of sports facilities, road traffic and other infrastructure in Shenzhen, but also enhanced Shenzhen's international reputation, making people living in Shenzhen happier and loving this young city more.
