[On the narrative breakthrough of Jin Renshun's novel Chunxiang] Chunxiang orange pomelo

The story of "Chunxiang" is a household name on the Korean peninsula. First, it was passed down by word of mouth among the people, and it was processed into a book in the18th century. There have been several different versions, including Quanzhou local version, Beijing version, Chunxiang story, Chinese version, Shuishan Guanghan building story, Chinese version of Chunxiang story, ancient version of Chunxiang and so on. 1954, the Korean Writers' Union Publishing House took "The Song of the Fierce Woman in the Spring Festival" as the base, collated the school notes, and published it under the title of "The Story of Chunxiang". Just as A Dream of Red Mansions is to China's classical literature, Chunxiang is to North Korea's Dream of Red Mansions. Faced with such a familiar theme, Jin Renshun's re-creation seems to be tricky, but in fact it implies a thankless adventure. Chunxiang's story precipitated a solid psychological foundation, not a springboard for her takeoff, but a puzzle that she had to go through. Jin Renshun, a Korean woman writer as brave and patient as Treasure Island Dog, started her dream-seeking journey with stubbornness in her blood. "Spring fragrance" shows her "dream of returning to her hometown" most intensively.

When reading Chun Xiang, we will naturally think of her previous novels Ji Zi and Red Flying over the Swing. "The fragrance of spring seems to have grown on their roots. The branches of this big tree are shaking the shadow of Panselli, and spring brings green to trees and grass." When asked about this matter, Jin Renshun said frankly, "National identity is another kind of complex for me. My description of my hometown is partly about coal mine life and partly about ethnic novels. Most of these novels are works with classical themes, which have nothing to do with reality, but human nature. Writing these stories is the way I dream of returning to my hometown. " I used these stories to create a strange personal space for myself, a dream trip ... these stories can also be said to be the same story.

The novel begins with "Mrs. Xiang" and is set off by gossip, which shapes the decisive position of "Mrs. Xiang" in Nanyuan House and the ambivalence that makes young women and two kinds of aristocratic ladies want to welcome and refuse. Then, "until I was eight years old, I always regarded my mother as the most ordinary woman." Dim the ambiguous aura hanging over "Mrs. Xiang". "I didn't realize that Mrs. Xiang was different until I left home." Mrs. Xiang's aura seems to light up again, but "few people who talk about Mrs. Xiang like sparrows all day in the market of Nanyuan House can tell anything about Mrs. Xiang exactly, such as skin color, hairstyle and clothing." It also makes these talks become self-propagating language bubbles that have nothing to do with the real Mrs. Xiang. At this point, we can find that there are two different voices at the beginning of the novel, one is a legend from outside the Champs Elysé es, and the other is a rebuttal to this legend, which is based on the true observation and feeling of "I".

Since the birth of "I", the focus of narrative has gradually tilted towards "I", and the voice of "I" once dominated the direction and rhythm of narrative. With the arrival of Mr. Zhu Jin, Mr. Xiao Dan and Mr. Feng Zhou, Xiangxie has become our "Herb Garden" and "Three Ponds Reflecting the Moon". In this part of the content, the author writes about swaying posture, without Xiaogang's "be cautious in front of the station", only "the article must be debauched." What is the importance of standing for several children? It is their nature to forget the outside world. With the help of children's innate curiosity, writing can just break through all artificial barriers. "Spring Fragrance" is self-taught. With its fascination with flowers and trees, it explores the inner universe of human beings boldly through the narrative that the author has treated Mr. Feng Zhou and his wife successively. This kind of exploration has gradually become "distracted". With the growth of Chunxiang, adolescent agitation and growing anxiety will follow. Similarly, the Golden Show of Seeds of Love and Little Order of Vanity also aggravate this anxiety and anxiety. The Champs Elysé es cannot accommodate "all love" and can only be allowed to "throw an almond out of the wall".

The opening of the inner psychology of "I" leads to obvious differences in narrative. The traditional writing method of love at first sight for talented people and beautiful women is no longer downstream, but sideways, and even a whirlpool of countercurrent appears. Li Menglong went to work for his future, while "I" locked myself in the pharmacy and cooked a medicine that could make people forget the past. "I" call it "five colors", so I insist, not to wait, but to end. "Song of Spring Fragrance" sings outside and has nothing to do with "I". It is like a newly fallen snow, which not only obscures the past story of Mrs. Xiang, but also obscures the story of my inner soul struggle. "I" once asked Mrs. Xiang about it very seriously. "Is there really a woman who is very similar to my life, also called Chunxiang?" Mrs. Xiang just laughed it off, so "I" had to leave the legend to others and the sadness to myself.

In Song of Spring Fragrance, the appearance of Bian Xuedao tested my unswerving feelings for Li Menglong. In fact, his appearance is only to make Mrs. Xiang mistakenly take the "five-color poison" I prepared for myself. When Mrs Xiang, who lost her memory, picked up balloon flowers like a child and sang the warm "Orange Stalk", she was no longer Mrs Xiang, but my mother. Just like when we were young, on a sunny afternoon, "sitting on a wooden porch, she was barefoot, and sometimes I was like her." We watched the birds rise and fall among the trees, and the flowers in the garden were a piece of brocade that shook off, showing the texture of China satin in the middle of the afternoon light and shadow. " The difference is that she studied "I" at that time, and now I study her. Times have changed. Now Mrs. Xiang has become the "I" of her childhood, and her present may be my future.

Encouraged by Song of Spring Fragrance, Li Menglong came to us in a hurry. "We" can only cry together, because he lost the faithful woman in Song of Spring Fragrance, and "I" is because of the estrangement that can't be blended from beginning to end. Chun Xiang, who made him cry, was not "I", but "we" shed the same tears, but it was really because of two different voices.

Smell, snake, dream

Unlike teenagers who come here to defend Lady Xiang, they are used to perceiving the Champs Elysé es with their eyes and ears. I am more sensitive to smell. "I can smell the sadness of those young hearts after being pickled by love from the fragrance of plants." The opening and discovery of people's sense of smell space is always a main line of Chunxiang's writing. It's just that people tend to be attracted by glamorous characters and romantic plots and ignore them. It is the gray line of grass snake in the novel, which looms as the plot progresses.

I am not only sensitive to smell, but also clean, so I don't like to eat, and I often eat flowers, plants and tree juices, especially when I concentrate on developing five colors behind closed doors. Smelling the heat of food makes me sick. I like natural smells. Processed food destroys the life of smells. "People have life, animals also have life, flowers and trees in the garden, which one is not a living thing? We live in everything, just like living with our relatives and friends. " "People, like vegetation, don't need to live more. People complicate many simple things. " This smell makes me walk out of the crowd and into nature. "I" returned to simplicity, but inadvertently entered a mysterious new world.

If the smell opens an infinite space for me, then the two unexpected appearances of "snakes" imply that there is an infinite space outside me, and they are mysterious. The first hand-in-hand between Han Lin's agreement adult and Mrs Xiang was a red line drawn by a colorful snake with massive mottled neck that suddenly appeared in the forest. It was the same snake that suddenly appeared on the way back to Seoul and killed him. This naturally reminds us of the snake that lured Eve and Adam to steal the forbidden fruit in the Bible. It brought original sin to people and was expelled from the Garden of Eden by God. The evil of mankind spread in the world, and finally angered God and punished the people he created with his own hands.
